Saudi Passive radar
From the Prince Sultan Center for Defense Studies
The radar is called silent because it is a passive radar that is characterized by the fact that it can detect enemy stealth targets, drones, or cruise missiles from a distance that fly at low altitudes and from a distance of 250 km without the enemy’s ability to detect them. This is due to the intelligence of Saudi designers in using widespread electromagnetic waves such as radio and television broadcast waves and communications towers. They also have the ability to use other radars to monitor flying objects and determine whether they are friendly or enemy.
