THAAD has intercepted the vast majority of its target sets. Aegis and THAAD have been highly effective and that’s confirmed by MDA.

So F-35 was intercepted over Yemeni airspace. But tue question is, how could Yemenis intercept this fighter jet? Which is claimed to be 5th generation and hence uniterceptable!

Barq-1/2 air defense missile most similar to old Iraian Taer SAM. 50-70 Km range, max altitude 20 Km. With these specs, it can track and down F-35 from 70 Km away. Outstanding

The F-35 is state-of-the-art. However, there can be close calls in war. In this instance, the F-35 got away either due to its sophisticated defenses or due to pilot skills or both. The information of interest is how the Houthi have established defenses including layout and how they could ambush jet fighters in some spots. The ingenuity of the Houthi is grossly underestimated. The Houthi have demonstrated significant anti-shipping capability with collective utilization of drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles (ASBM), and ability to fight on a broader level. The Houthi have demonstrated more capability and better tactics than many regional powers around the world. These people are very smart.

THAAD cannot intercept a ballistic missile over Yemen, this is unrealistic but it is very capable system. The IDF intercepted scores of ballistic missiles but one got through in Ben Gurion and Israel confirmed it. Israeli investigation reveals use of radar jamming tech which is very interesting. However, they are also learning from these innovations. The IDF has intercepted ballistic missiles recently. In what capacity was THAAD used is unknown and the US may or may not disclose this information.

Israelis claimed the last few occasions THAAD failed and Arrow also failed (Ben Gurion hit), and the next occasion they claimed THAAD failed to intercept again but Arrow succeeded

Your statement was confusing but fair enough. THAAD interceptor missed two times as per Israel.

For general knowledge, THAAD battery can be equipped with THAAD launchers and Patriot launchers to launch different interceptors in order to intercept a variety of airborne threats in different trajectories but THAAD battery stationed in Israel does not have this composition. However, THAAD battery is said to be interoperable with Arrow system(s) so it could still be pretty relevant in facilitating intercepts above Israel and collecting relevant data. This is good homework to be honest. Lockheed Martin is now developing THAAD 6.0 version.
