the people of Yemen can speak for themselves. some things are more important than bringing 'economic value'.
Now that photograph does show what actual popular support looks like.

we have never seen such massive crowds like we see in Yemen in support of Palestine and supporting their government's policiesYemen is stronger than Taliban.
Houthis are very very non material and religious at time of thinking. They do not think like you.
You are comparing living standards of people in the US with living standards of people in Yemen? Like seriously?what has got to do with military doctrine and assets ?
US has 65 million people with no dental healthcare so what has that got to do with the war?
the fact that Yemen have managed to hit Eilat bypassing 43 warships from 16 nations in the Red Sea including 6 x Patriot III batteries in Saudi and Jordan then bypassing the 3 x Saar 4 and 5 of the israeli Navy in the Gulf of Aqaba and then finally Israels own high altitude Patriot III, Davids Sling, Arrow and finally the Iron Dome shows that Yemen has very advanced spectrum of weapons
with each launch they are calibrating their weapons and missiles and no doubt Iran will be adjusting accordingly
if they want to hit the USN they can do it easily
They tried and failed.if they want to hit the USN they can do it easily
Very.Yemen is stronger than Taliban.
Houthis are very very non material and religious at time of thinking. They do not think like you.
That what Trump hate about NATO, a clan of free bees attached to UN-NATO defence budget.
But the Yemeni public supports the Houthis in fighting back against the international coalition supporting ISrael's genocide against Palestinians, if not why didnt they protest the houthis entering military action? Once again you are forcing a Western/Liberal perspective on Yemenis who do not follow that ideology. If Houthis cared about Yemenis they would not have launched attacks on Ships
thats false- Houthis possess Antiship cruise and ballistic missiles, which they have used to restrict ships goign to ISrael- how did Houthis empty Eilat port of activity if it possesses nothing to counter retaliatory strikes from US?Houthis have missiles, rockets and drones to fight back against US, and while it might be not on par with US's conventional capabilities, they have other advantages that reduce US military's advantage- geography, proximity to the critical red sea and ground forces that US and Uk and Saudi militaries apparently never want to fight on Yemeni soil- those are all leverage points. How did Afghanistan beat US when it didnt even possess capabilities that Houthis possess today?b/c they don't possess anything to counter the retaliatory strikes from US.
its not false bravado- Yemenis have their religous and national basis for their attitude and policies towards Israel and Us, you are just in denial or them.In their false bravado,Only Yemen's common people are going to suffer.
Then why would Yemenis sign up to be expended? Once again you have no understanding of their v alues, goals, culture and understading of their region. Every human being and group on earth wants to survive and exist and thrive naturally so why would they choose to be "expendable"? Also being expendable TO MEET NATIONAL goals is different from just being expendable- Afghans "expended" themselves during the war....but they ultimately kicked out the apparent world's sole super power- its called sacrifice and strategy. Why do you think Iran does not try a missile strike on israel right from its own territory ? THE ANSWER IS OBVIOUS TO ALL: YEMENIS ARE EXPENDABLE FOR THE REGIME IN TEHRAN & Yemen.
You are comparing living standards of people in the US with living standards of people in Yemen? Like seriously?
Houthi "national interests" have left much of the country in ruins. I have pointed out the obvious. Those who are championing Houthi politics from a distance - these people do not know how bad it is there because they do not live there. Distant fasadi cheerleaders. If I may be so bold as to suggest, let's not go off topic here. There are enough distractions already.
I think the point on topic was that Yemen is prepared to act to as best as it can in the situation that it feels serves its national interests as best as possible. It of course is also responsible for the choices it is making, as are all the other parties that may be affected by Yemeni actions.
Houthi "national interests" have left Yemen in ruins. I have pointed out the obvious.
navies across the world are getting some real live action
yesterday's bombing of Yemen was so successful and created so much deterrence that the US needs to bomb Yemen again today
You are comparing living standards of people in the US with living standards of people in Yemen? Like seriously?

I have friends and relative in the US. All are doing fine. There is no such thing as free healthcare in any country. Hospitals require lot of funds to be functional and well-equipped. Hospitals that supposedly provide free healthcare expect from patients to pay in the form of donations. It also comes down to what type of job you have. Some companies provide excellent medical insurance. This is how it is.
Yemen have achieved virtually nothing in its strikes on Israel. IDF have shot down missiles and drones that were deemed threatening. IDF will ignore those missiles and drones that are not deemed threatening. You are mistaking intentional misses for lack of capability.
Modern Patriot systems can engage hypersonic missiles as they have shown in Ukraine. Houthi have nothing comparable.
They tried and failed.

Qat in Wartime: Yemen’s Resilient National Habit - The Yemen Review, March 2023
Early one summer morning, Mohammed stood among his grove of qat trees in a village south of the capital Sana’a in Sanhan district. Two local men, who work as Mohammed’s mubazigheen (pickers), were busy harvesting qat, plucking leaves, and placing them in plastic shopping bags. Every so often...sanaacenter.org

Yemen
Yemen is facing one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises. After more than a decade of conflict, worsened by economic decline and climate shocks, millions are struggling to survive. Today, 22.3 million people, or more than half thewww.unfpa.org
Well, Saudi and French Total suck all Yemeni oil ..... they been ruined during North South war. Later Saudi try to run regime change operation, when Yemeni nation demand election .... but Yemen is still beautiful country.Houthi "national interests" have left much of the country in ruins. I have pointed out the obvious. Those who are championing Houthi politics from a distance - these people do not know how bad it is there because they do not live there. Distant fasadi cheerleaders.
