Z-10 ME/P deliveries Updates: Pakistan Army Aviation.

The PAA needs light attack helicopters. Perhaps we can approach this from a different perspective.

The PLAGF's arsenal includes a unique weapon. We often call it an "空中三蹦子 air tricycle." ------ It is assigned to the PLAGF's special forces for use in special missions such as raids and infiltrations.

Don't be fooled by its humble appearance.

1. The two-seater version is equipped with a 120HP gasoline piston engine, while the three-seater version is equipped with a 135HP engine. The noise level is exactly the same as that of a normal motorcycle. A silent exhaust pipe can be added as an additional option.
2. Maximum take-off weight 560kg, maximum speed 185km/h, maximum range 600km.
3. No professional pilot is required. Any soldier can master the craft after a few hours of training.
4. No dedicated landing area is required. Takeoff can be performed from any flat surface 10-20 meters . Vertical landing is also possible.
5. Most importantly: it's incredibly affordable. The price in China is around 100,000 RMB. If exported, the unit price wouldn't exceed $20,000 USD. If Pakistan were to import the technology and produce it domestically, the cost would be a little over $10,000 USD. The technology is so simple that Pakistan could achieve 100% local production, including all components.

It is very safe. Even if the engine shuts down in the air, it can still land safely.
If a tactical mission requires it, and it delivers the special forces to their destination, even if we throw it away, we won't feel it's too wasteful. It's too cheap.
Man not that light lmao

No, No, No.
Hamas is doctrine/resource wise an "Insurgent" group. Not an Organized Army or Well Regulated Militia even. Their initial attack was success because Israel wanted them to do it, effectively giving them an excuse for mass genocide.

No country have adapted or training to use Paragliders for SF raids. They still do HALO/HAHO jumps at 30,000 feet envelope, with minibikes or ATV's. Low level Helo inserts and long movement on foot. Or Shallow water submarines.

That thing will be detected right away, It doesn't have counter measures or anything. Just two duded holding on to dear life.

I disagree, if the Chinese see a purpose for it there must be something to it

Before the Iranian Shahed-136 UAV appeared, UAVs were often considered expensive weapons.

When the Iranian Shahed-136 first appeared, it was often mocked as too simple and dismissed.

Only when the Iranian Shahed-136 proved its power in war did people realize the power and effectiveness of this inexpensive weapon.

Now, most countries around the world are either copying the Shahed-136 or adopting similar designs......

War is also an economic endeavor.
A single Z-10ME costs approximately $15-20 million. For an Army Aviation unit, 20 or 19 no difference. However, if the savings were used to purchase these aerial tricycles, over 1,000 could be purchased.
This means you could use them to secretly transport 2,000 special forces soldiers...
Apples to oranges man, the Pakistan India border has the highest concentration of radars and general intelligence anywhere in the excepte Ukraine any somewhat large scale troop insertion by air is clearly visible, if you want to insert troops behind lines then it's far more practical to just do it by foot or through motorcycles, anyway this can't do the job of an Z-10 anyway, just a single of pair of Z-10s can stop an armored push in a sector these things can't do that, same way shaheds can't do the job of a fighter jet.

Forgot about another AOR, sir creek marshes real nice piece of terrain for insertion too

Lemme be civilized with you,
>Pakistan
>No Strategic Depth
>Takeoff, Border is right there.

>Swarm of Cattle Herders is will be picked up Radar real quick and it's going to be turkey shoot.
>Lost a company of highly trained SOF personnel.

Better approach. On foot insertion across LOC. Forest will help you stay hidden from aircraft. Get close launch Lancet, switchblade type loitering munitions. Do a hard target defeat walk back out.

OR get one of your IL-78. Fly above 40,000. Do a HAHO insertion(Cover more distance but vulnerable to A-A if spotted). maybe HALO (Cover less Distance, little risk of getting killed in air)
Or you like water, get onboard shallow attack sub getclose to Indian cost. Dive rest of the way using closed circuit rebreathers. Plant Underwater Charges on ships.

Also I remember being called racial slurs and kafir by you and the gang.
Man you countered a retarded idea with a another retarded idea, HALO jumps? Really? Something as large as a midas is going to be picked up pretty quickly and shot down so now you just lost an entire company of SOF personnel and 1 out of 4 of your aerials tankers/strategic airlifters, there's a reason Russia hasn't tried something like that in Ukraine.

By light helicopter, people here meant modern, safe, capable of striking with stand off weapons. I don't see a utility of this in our Pakistan-india scenario.

I think a larger version of the CR500 might make things interesting. So, for the lightweight requirement, why go for a crewed helicopter when you can offload the work to rotary drones? Then PAA can operate these drones alongside the Z-10MEs, with the latter serving as command nodes.

I read Z10ME, with drones providing reconnaissance, our helicopter could launch guided munitions while remaining safely behind terrain? Or will drones helos be slaved to this helicopter’s weapons officer?

According to this retard 50% of all Z-10s ever produced have crashed (there are only 2 known crashes of the Z-10)

"Inferior AESA based warning system"

Truly the peak of Indian intelligence.

they took their time, I was hoping to see this kind of stupidity much sooner

Bro - Don't worry about the Americans. Their economy can take 1000 sitting AH1Z's. Worry about Pakistan and it's interests.

Chinese industry is now on par with the West. May be better than Europeans in some aspects. Z-10ME offers some tech that doesn't exist in AH-1Z's, nor will it come in it as it's really Apache's tech.

Z-10ME will get benefit from tech upgrades that are being put into Z-21, that's China's Apache if you will. So our units will be kept upgraded. Right now, its a world of difference in capability compared to older Cobras we had just a few weeks ago. We now have the helo, we need to get it in decent numbers 80-100, and upgrade the engine and tech with time.

Lastly, someone mentioned getting an assembly line. I am ALL for it as Z-10 will come in much cost effective due to China's focus on Z-21. If we can get a blue print of a Civilian design chassis, we can start a local helo commercial - military industry over time. But JUST for 40 or 80 helos for the Army, NO need for us to get assembly, etc, the numbers being acquired will be used for next 15-20 years. No more units needed, what would the assembly line do? That money should be put into PFX assembly.
Totally right no need of assembly line and PAA have no need of AH-1Z now ...

Z-10ME are good and enough for us ..

My point was if US want they can put any demand for there interest.. specially trump is pure business.. he will do everything that will boosts these incomes

Boneyard is like KaBarai Shop.. he will try sale all junk to 3rd world..

All in the while forgetting two nearly crashed Guardians still having factory stickers on them.
