Anyone remember the Himalayan Pink salt saga? Similar thing has been happening.

Yeah.... I can tell you exactly where the problem lies - its Punjabis with their motay-damagh behavior. I watched it this play in my mother's family over and over again - they fight over the most pettiest thing and then make up, repeat cycles. Now where am I going with this - Pakistan state apparatus is at the minimal influence by Punjab. they have no qualm about breaking bread with the enemy - because they have no resolve or honor. They lack it actually. You see this behavior over and over again. There was a poster on the old PDF whose uncle was in the FIA i think. The member mentioned that Pakistan exports its products to UAE where the Indians buy it since its higher quality and then re-label it (amongst other unethical business practices). The member asked why does Pakistan allow this when its undermining Pakistan on all levels. The Uncle supposedly said something along the lines of it doesn't matter what the Indians do with the products as long they have a buyer. It will be too much hassle to actually start labeling it as made in Pakistan or in Pakistan.
Ther's no ruthlessness in that Punjabi mind of theirs. They're happy with small scraps. The Indian bureaucracy has historally run circles around Pakistanis precisely due to Punjabis acting like this way towards everyone. "Restraint" is their favorite word because they are low IQ (anyone who's been to Pakistan can attest to this), very short-term thinking mindset, and this schizophrenic desire to appease its enemies just to be accepted. I honestly thought it was limited to how my maternal side of the family behaves - but turns out its a disease spread across Punjab.

I truly believe the state should be run by ruthlessness in all affairs. I do not have the confident that a Punjab influence Pakistan has the willpower or interest to right the ship. They're living in the 1950s - just take a look at how long it took them to come to terms with a Hindunized India - whereas I predicted it in 2002 that we will have to go to war with these Subhuman p3j33ts once they come to power fully (after watching them genocide and rape Muslims in Gujarat). Why didn't the Punjabi wannabe P3j33ts switch up their mentality decades ago? I can tell you they still hope to obtain favorable terms when they capitulate eventually just like 1971.

You try not to be so critical but once you understand their mentality and behavior - you have no choice to call out their destructive behaviors.

Like I said I "formally" apologize for a remark like that. But it is the bitter truth.

After the "murdering of innocent Iraqis (2003 war), Afghanistanis (2001 war)", what can you expect?

We need to ask China which has 1.42 billion to improve Pakistan's reputation.

Or you can ask the useless 266mn people in Pakistan to actually start working hard for their future instead of asking for outsiders to come and clean up your mess.

Pakistan is an "Emerging Pakistan" - with 266 million people. Insh'Allah we will get there.

I advise the Pakistani diaspora to rush back to Pakistan to fix it, so we can live there.

No one is rushing back until the laws changed for the betterment of the common person. I'm not going back so some that General's daughter can get 0 interest loans to get her back blown out by White boys at Frat houses in the US. GTFO.

we sell it cheap and then Indians package and market it as a Indian product , same as rice but now with this ruling they cant anymore , wish we treated our produce/minerals like other countries do eg like Italy treats Parmigiano Reggiano

Pakistan wins Basmati rice ownership battle against India in global market​

In a major victory for Pakistan, the global battle over Basmati rice ownership has resulted in India’s defeat.

Both New Zealand and Australia have officially recognised Basmati as a Pakistani product, while a similar decision from the European Union is also expected in Pakistan’s favour.

Indian attempts to undermine Pakistan’s claim on Basmati rice have failed, as international trade experts and historians have proven that Basmati originates from Pakistan’s Hafizabad district.

Indian claims were dismissed outright by Australia and New Zealand, with the EU expected to follow suit soon.

Pakistan’s Basmati rice is known for its superior aroma, quality, and competitive pricing.

The country’s rice exports have surged to $4 billion, positioning it as a dominant player in the $27 billion global rice market.

Alarmed by Pakistan’s rising exports, India has been attempting to take control of the Basmati trade, but its efforts have backfired.

Exporters, including Chaudhry Tanveer, argue that India does not produce authentic Basmati.

Instead, Pakistan’s Basmati is shipped to Dubai, where Indian traders rebrand it as their own before exporting it further.

Historical records further weaken India’s claims — according to data submitted to the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), India had not exported a single grain of Basmati before 1965, whereas Pakistan was already exporting it to Europe and Gulf countries in the 1960s.

Trade expert Shams-ul-Islam stated that while the Pakistan-India dispute over Basmati ownership in the EU has faced delays, intellectual property laws protect the original producer.

He emphasised that India’s objections lack merit and that the geographical indication (GI) certification should rightfully belong to Pakistan.

With the rising importance of geographical protection in trade, securing exclusive rights to Basmati rice remains a crucial economic and strategic goal for Pakistan.

Our side did a really good job at presenting the facts and figures to get favourable decision.
