Nicolás Maduro was indicted in the United States on corruption, drug trafficking and other charges in 2020, and the State Department had announced a $50 million reward for information leading to his arrest or conviction. In announcing the capture of Maduro, President Trump said it was done in conjunction with U.S. law enforcement. The indictment was sworn out in the Southern District of New York.

Don't want to change topic but China is already ready for war, next is Iran and we will be next target. With China, Usa will surround them with Pro Usa allies and China will have no choice but to give and take.

The writing is on the wall.

Iranian members get angry when you warn them, I guess their leadership and people know better. People understand estimate Usa/EU and allies power, they control the world, have the best technology and resources.

The Iranians are completely fooling themselves to think otherwise.

yes sams were neutralized then helis were flown in .
this was a very quick operation, helicopters fly into Caracas almost immediately

I didn't see a sustained SEAD/DEAD campaign or any evidence the s-300s were hit, let alone SHORAD systems and MANPADs which could all take down helicopters

Where was the country's military,
airdefense? The US helicopters just flew into the Caracas with no resistance, heck even war-torn Somalia took down a couple of Blackhawks?
Its obvious that the President of Valenzuela was betrayed by his own, or cut a deal with the US.

The Venezuelans were caught off guard. They didn't even have the time to respond. The Americans overwhelmed them. Not that it matters even if the Venezuelans were fully prepared.

Ofcourse there is no comparison of Venezuela vs Iran. Iran has much more powerful military then Venezuela.

However, if or when US attacks Iran then it won't bother to abduct Iranian leadership. They will try eliminate it and destroy every asset of Iran. The goals and strategies will be different versus Iran.

They still need boots on the ground to ensure regime change, Maduro wasn't going to last long anyway even if he evaded capture initially he had a lot of enemies in Venezuela itself

Thats understandable but im more so saying that both china and russia cant support Venezuela more than words and neither really cares for what happens there.
This is inconsistent with the facts. Russia and Iran have supported Venezuela. However, the distance stretches the supply lines, and the amount of aid that can be delivered is limited.

If the Venezuelan president were really captured by the Americans, this would have nothing to do with aid anymore.

The U.S. likely infiltrated through spies and bribed Venezuela's opposition. Only in this way could the plan proceed so smoothly.

Russia is at war with Ukraine and NATO countries. China is looking for a solution regarding Taiwan Province, and within Taiwan Province, impeachment proceedings have been carried out against the 'Taiwan separatist forces.' This impeachment has passed, and China will not give up the opportunity to solve the problem peacefully. Venezuela is too far away.

Mexican President Díaz said: 'Poor Mexico, so close to the U.S., yet so far from paradise.'

Venezuela's situation is the same.

This was an inside job.

Iran can be attacked of course

But it's a different animal to Venezuela who had very little in the bag, the biggest threat from Venezuela is that people don't accept the change and their is blood letting on the streets against people they seem traitors etc

Iran's biggest threat is popular dissent inside the country, if the people hold their nerve under immense propaganda then Iran can concentrate on this external enemy and whilst it's vulnerable it also has multiple attack options and targets in the region
