Air defense? I didn't see anything about that in the article? (Not that we have anything to offer in the first place) it mentions K8s, UCAVs and LMs, it does mention JF-17s as a maybe

How come Pakistan is supplying HQ 9 , and that too as part of just 1.9 billion dollars sales.?
The HQ 9 on its own costs more than that I guess ?

I think it’s supposed to be a joint pak china sale but yeah this one was also very sus when it was first reported on. I dont know what has happened since but apparently rueters is saying its going through

Ok , internet says HQ 9 Costs around 400 million USD , so , could be part of 1.6 billion USD deal.
But Pakistan doesn't make any component of that system.

Well unless

that is a rare sortie dude..you don’t have these missiles for everyday AD missions . Pl15 is a standard AD config..so by now a pic must have occurred ..can’t compare a AG mssile vs a standard AA configuration . Then how do you explain tons of j10 pics airborne with pl15? Tons of pics with f16s airborne with 4x amraams …but none with jf17…not a single picture …not one but tons of pics of jf17 in the ground …just one pic but you can’t find one

There is no doubt that JF-17 can carry 4 PL-15 but it will perform better in a fight with lesser load of 2. Depending on the mission, the decision can be taken for 4 but generally it is better to keep it as light as possible for more loitering time and other added advantages.

Do you know how many pl-15s jf-17 can carry at max? Including dual ejector racks btw. Is total number 9 or 7?
