I could say the usual 'it is up to the Iranians to decide' But IMO, if Iran capitulates on Netanyahu's demands then Iran is finished as a sovereign nation! It was one thing for Pakistan to have bowed to the American demands after 9/11, which was the right decision looking at where Pakistan stands now; Pakistani and American geopolitical interests have never too much collided. But this is Israel vs Iran. Netanyahu and the State of Israel will never allow a credible power in their vicinity!
Otherwise, this is not America's war and had it been ANY other American President then Trump, we would not be seeing the aggressiveness against Iran and against the Middle East in general. There is no American interest threatened by Iran but Trump not only had killed Suleimani in his first term but also agreed to give the Golan Heights and made Jerusalem Israel's capital and that was in his first term! Now it seems to me that the only pressure he has exercised over Israel is due to the combined Muslim countries' pressure to force Netanyahu to the ongoing Gaza Peace Plan and even that may not last long because Netanyahu's long term goals are different from America's.

Until the 1979 Iranian revolution when its zeal tried to expand regionally, even the sectarian differences didn't matter much. And in today's loosening of ideological hold on people and nations, well, with the exception of the Afghan Taliban, I don't see today's Iran and its regional ambitions are the same even if they can afford to 'project' influence, which they can't.
