The Russia bit is extremely important... in fact Putin's gambit cannot be explained accurately without this consideration. Russia is in it for itself and will take anyone down the path holding hands and all...

However, both Russia and China are critical to avert an attack or maintain Iran after the fact. There is a war of manipulation happening in the speculation markets... and the manipulators are gung-ho on toppling the opposition with tools alone... behind the scenes. That is absolutely crucial for both Chinese and Iranians... the later faced their recent riots planned and executed by manipulators sitting comfortably in their drawing rooms.

Honestly only thing china needs to do is put itself as a buffer they don’t need to do anything at all if Trump forces actually mistakenly hit a Chinese ship war is over, I don’t think he’s crazy enough to risk a war with china ,

There are those facing their comeuppance and than there are those who maintained through thick and thin... ones helped now are and will be the ones who stand with Pakistan... the replacement is choking on the collective.

Iranians just like the Pakistanis had preconceived notions about each other... each also assumes other to be the pawn of the collective... feigning resistance... either drop the trope or face the music. Time for cheap shots is gone... the region is facing an existential crisis for the Chosen crowd assumes, now or never!

They now their handicaps and the ticking clock...

Iran's existing capabilities from Land can Neutralize any near by ground threats even , take care of sea based threat

Well you can clearly see from this image , any of the small bases will be chicken fodder in front of incoming missiles
