Completely different classes of missiles.
Sejjil-2 is a two-stage solid-fueled missile, while Hwasong-10 is single-stage liquid-fueled missile. Sejjil was first unveiled and tested in 2007 on national TV, during the time of Ahmadinejad. Hwasong-10 was developed in 2010, according to Wikipedia.

Iran's Khorramshahr missile is in the same class as Hwasong-10, while K-4 is similar to Hwasong-12. Also, the warheads of Khorramshahr missiles is 1,500-1,800 kg.

It's too late for "what if's" now but maybe if we had a modern air force, the US would've never dared to take out Haj Qassem in Iraq with a drone because he would've had air cover.
Maybe Israel and Republic of Azerbaijan would've never dared to take out our President inside our territory. Maybe Israel would've never dared to launch two large operations against us on its own. Basically, a chain of events that led to this point could've been stopped much earlier, or not even get initiated in the first place.

Most importantly, it would've been very easy to convince the Iranians about that huge spending while we were suffering under draconian sanctions. No Iranian would've challenged our decision to arm the IRIAF, or our ground forces, or create an IADS to defend our sky. However, Iran lost not only lost over 50 billion USD in Syria, but we also lost our regional and internal legitimacy by arming Assad to kill his own people.

Again, it's too late for what if's now. Our defense strategy at this point is offense by our missile forces and drones, but we are under-armed for that too.

You seriously think hyper military power like US will be scared of some SU-35S? US can F up entire RuAF for starters if they want. Airbases are vulnerable as hell unless underground.

Also Soleimani was given to Trump from Inside and so was the internal assassination of conservative Raisi+Abollahian. One by one all of these hardcore anti-Israeli Islamists are being removed to be replaced by Reformists or moderates power figures like Larijani and they seem to be new IRGC backed. Iran's air defense systems have no connection to China's. Iran's main missiles are largely imitations of Russian designs. For instance, the "March 3" missile, widely deployed by Iran, is essentially a copy of the Buk system. The problem is that the radar of the March 3 missile is nearly identical to that of the Buk-M1. Iran has replicated a Soviet-era PESA radar using ferrite technology from 50 years ago, which during last year's war even failed to detect F-15/F-16 aircraft flying directly overhead.

Irans main HIMAD is Khordad family TELAR which uses Sayyad-2/3 and Bavar-373 which used Sayyad-4 (TVCed) they come from local designs that trace their origin to SM-1 that US gave to Iran. The SHORAD Iran uses is Majid or Azarakhsh that is based on local Azarakhsh WVR derived from AIM-9J aiframe but with all aspect/HOBs, FnF capability, again an American design. Only Russian Origin MIDAD IRIAD uses is Taer/Sevom Khordad's missile that traces origin to BUK missiles but even the aerodynamics are changed so is guidance. You failed.

Iran has long relied on improved versions of the P-18 radar, but this radar is outdated and still uses Yagi antennas, making it susceptible to interference even by the cheapest jamming pods.

It is not ethnicity problem of investment it is more problem of iranian geopolitical strategy to invest in non state actors, it has some perks in chaotic times but they are always background liability once the internal and external power shifts. But that is already discussed and elaborated well enough by iranian members.

My estimation that attack will start this weekend, americans completed deployment, once current jew warlord come back from usa assault will begin.
It is simply to expensive to keep such large force deployed as merely deterrence measure, also i do not think there will be ground invasion unless iranian power structure crumbles under air attacks which is less likely unless air campaign prolong in weeks long continues attack and being ready to take some punches back, Iran is not toothless that much.

Jew sources are speculating that you ramped up your missile production to the 300 pcs per month and if they are near true you are in that regard already in better position then before 12 days war, only question remains how good your contingency plans are in that regard and are you ready to defend the country.

Iranians are even more prone to boasting about their weapons than Indians. Iran finds it extremely difficult to produce qualified X-band AESA radars. To this day, the Bavar-373 missile system has only produced one set of X-band fire control radar.

In reality, this radar is a copy of China's 605B radar from the 2000s. Iran obtained the export version of this radar from Syria and replicated it, while falsely promoting it as domestically developed.
