I actually think Iran may well be turning the tide here and we may see US ask for ceasefire.

The hegemony of the middle east is being decided now. whichever side gets the worse deal out of the eve tuql negotiated settlement loses their hegemony status. I wouldn't discount the logical possibility(maybe small) of this being an ambush by an Iranian mobile IADS platform either. The distances are within range. This is the same as when the Patriots shot down 3 Su30(derivatives) during the start of the Ukraine war when they got the Patriots for the first time.

Mobile SAM doesn't have its own radar control; it generally operates in very close range, unless you have a very good comm network + AWACS fly over to provide coverage, that Iranian Mobile system would have to be deep inside Iraq or even inside Kuwait to be effective.

While Manpad can make this happen, a Manpad taking out 3 advance aerial platforms in one setting is not really possible.
