Yes and other than moving 358 is a good option because it is a jet engine missile. It has less infrared flash signature while launching than a rocket based one. The problem with moving is they can potentially detect the object by radar doppler shift from air but it is difficult with a smaller vehicle. There can be measures against doppler shift that as well Ukraine uses shoot-scoot all the time against Russia for example.
The other option is camouflaging the sensor and launching from a separat site a distance away.

But I am surprised how little grassroots opposition there has been from the public, compared to, for example, the 2003 war on Iraq. Except from the far-left Democrats and a few pure MAGA, most Democrats and Republicans are - may be slightly apprehensive and worried if things may go wrong - but otherwise holding their tongue. I think the lack of ground invasion is the main reason. There was similarly little public resentment against the 1999 NATO air attacks on Serbia.

I think the other reason is that amount of conflicts in the last quarter of the century has made us less sensitive and our moral compass is getting compromised too. I mean clearly this is an unjust war and most of us are just sitting in and really not paying much attention here in usa.

This isn't a preemptive war; this is a "preventive" war. And there are no, none, nada, legal justification for a "preventive war."

My wife said this

Preemptive War is legal in international terms, BUT it has strict guidance on how this works, and 3 condition must be met before you can call a war a preemptive war

1.) An attack on your own country is imminent and will be destructive.
2.) There are no alternatives
3.) had already tried a diplomatic solution, but it didn't work.

Unless the US has intelligence that Iran is about to attack the US (Not just bases in the Middle East, but the US Mainland) and it is imminent, it's not a month after or a year after, 1 did not fulfill.

You can argue whether or not 2 is fulfilled, and 3 is fulfilled.

A Preventive War is to prevent something from happening, that's not legal in any shape, way or form, and it is what the current US administration is using to fight Iran, because it prevents Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, well, at least this is what the President said, and it's not legal in any international law.

Well our president has moved on from that argument of nuclear to other things. It's a moving goal post for him. Whenever he likes he moves it.
