ACM looks like he is constantly recovering from a heavy night on the Glenffidich...
An interesting but disconnected statement given to me by a senior officer - beyond a certain rank its less about your green flags(performance) and more about whether you know how much Gin your superior takes with their tonic.

Regardless, some of the most respected, skilled and those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for Pakistan were known to have indulged in “Umm-ul-Khabias” on and off in social settings but that was when Pakistanis drank outside and prayed at home - today they pray outside and drink at home like a former council of Islamic ideology member.

Whats important is that they moderate what they do in every aspect and that their professional acumen is unmatched.

When people start doubting that last bit it gets difficult in many many ways and very troubling.

their professional acumen is unmatched.

That's all that matters to me. And sorry to say, it's going down the drain from the looks of it across the board.

I swear I just saw a video of the ACM doing a video shoot with an F-16, and now he does it with a J-10?

Yeh banda itna wela hai?

Exactly, drinking or not is a personal vice and a matter between the person and God, if they believe in one.
Professionalism is something else and from what we can see, this air chief is lacking it in droves.
Shauq aside, this is just PR and an image campaign. I'd say the way election mandate from Pakistanis was stolen in broad daylight, celebrating 23rd March is in fact a slap in our face.
It's more akin to a celebration by the haram khoors in power of getting their way, with a thin veneer of nationalism or patriotism. I can't for the life of me get excited for the parade this year.

Oh lord it's not stopping!

Are we sure it ain't Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu day we are celebrating?

In the following same video, I have observed another alarming situation.

Look at following stills, I mean is this the trust level between chief of an air staff and its own men ?? The security detail is right behind (just even 2 feet away, walking parallel to the airforce men who are going to hand shake)

I mean you're at your own airbase. These are your own men!!

Guy is in the wrong field. Just imagine, camera crew walking besides on those angles.

I guess those scenes should now be frequent in the airbase as PAF is posting such material nearly on daily basis. Sidhu sahab wants to portray him as only hope for the PAF. The way he is spending PAF budget on his personal PR campaign is something that is unbelievable.

When I saw his that helicopter video with ultra VVIP treatment. That many landcruisers, presidential security and red carpet being rolled out, that was a moment of shock and utter disappointment. The way those PSF tout accounts started to display his large size posters with national assets like JF-17s, F-16s etc was a clear sign that our boy has political motives. Sensible people were all observing that and now everything is clearer then ever before.

I am only worried if meritocracy is sidelined, obviously ACM does the high level promotions in air force. We can only pray that capable, humble and professional officers are promoted to senior most ranks, so whenever next ACM has to be selected the ones at top are the best & deserving ones. Although few will retire because of Sidhu's unwillingness to leave govt office on his retirement.

This should be of more concern.

Considering the mental abilities of Sidhu sahab, who will he choose when he eventually retires? Not really confidence inspiring.

Read chapter by ACdre Sajjad Haider’s book on the PAF during Zafar Chaudhry tenure.

Spot on, have nothing at all against drinkers per say, I have indulged myself in the past so cannot past judgement. Spot on analysis though

A nice summary of PAF modernization
