imo, it's probably more likely because Jordan is far away and they need to use one of their MRBM that are very limited in stock, the same ones that are also needed to hit Israel. So instead of wasting them on a secondary target like Jordan, they save them for Israel instead. That would be my guess.
If they actually had a huge stock of them, like tens of thousands, they probably would pound Jordan too, just like the rest of the GCC. But as you can see, the daily attacks on Israel, the chief enemy, is very limited, so they clearly don't have many medium range missiles in stock and are trying to stretch them out and preserve them instead.
