Imo best way too see fatah V is substracting from pool of existing options.
Fatah/1 300mm 140km mlrs
Fatah 2 600mm 250-400km high end mlrs/TBM
Fatah 3 (likely hd-1) SSCM with 450km+ range
Fatah 4 harbah GLCM 700km+ range
Fatah 5: ????
Imo fatah 1/2 platforms already fully occupy lower end spectrum of detterence and are mature options that can have different rocket variants fitted for specific purposes. This family can easily fulfill roles
In 0-500km range over time with updated missiles.
Fatah 4 being a subsonic LO CM based on babur/harbah family is designed primarily for deep strike strategic target roles likely in the 400-700km range with cooperation in between ARFC,navy ,ASFC/NSFC this weapon family will likely have multiple different variants of it added to the lineup and used depending on mission, with imo older conventional baburs variants also being integrated under single force. With babur IB this increases range to 900km at current and very likely 1000km+ in near future. This will fill the subsonic, high tech, high maneuverability and stealth part of attack profile.
Fatah 3:
Theres not much to be said here simply because we dont know enough about it. We know that atleast its meant to be SSCM (very likely hd-1) in direct response to brahmos like capability. It will have to be in same range ballpark to be a true counter but this might not be too much of a concern. Unlimited by MTCR wether hd-1 or otherwise it will have to have 300+ km range likely 500-600km to compete with brahmos but
Abdali/scaled up F2:
There is assumption abdali is a 450km+ F2 with nuclear warhead but this makes no sense due to it having both extended range and bigger warhead in same body unless its a single launcher per TEL. This got me thinking that if this bigger version of F2 does exist or is just based on idea of a much bigger rocket then this version could fit 550-750 km spectrum of conventional detterence whilst carry 300-500kg warhead.
SRBM/shaheen I route:
PARFC is already known to use and upgrade existing platforms for its needs in regards to its needs. And seeing the war with iran they may realise they also have potential need of 800-1200km+ SRBM conventional detterent to hit deep inside india using vectors to augment existing babur/harbah/F4 in strategic deep penetration strike. This type of weapon is needed as subsonic options like f4 whilst being LO are still at risk of interception by large scale SAM deployments and being so deep in india existing TBMs likely wont cut this requirement. However Shaheen I is already developed SRBM solutions with facilities already established to be scaled up. This sort of weapon can be conventional modern equivalent of S1, being almost 30 years newer the technological advancements in size, weight and range would be massive, alternatively you can use this requirement to completely replace shaheen-1 with a mordern version, you can even put in a bunker buster warhead to reply to indian IRBMS or MIRVS like russian oreshnik. This type of missile would be replicating iranian model most directly relying on existing R&D and manufacturing base for mass production. We dont need thousands of these like iran but even a couple hundred are enough to increase detterence and take off workload from much needed CMs.
HGV solution:
This is just not happening anytime soon lmao. In fact even if PARFC gets it ill be pretty mad because we cant acquire enough AD but somehow have money to spend on large, expensive utterly unnecessary HGVs given our requirements for penetrating enemy AD which is so far not remotely good enough to warrant this type of munition. Meanwhile india is far from developing its own HGV and when they do we always have option to acquire from china.
