recently a jumped up shit indian import gp came running to one of our pharmacies at a hospital. She had prescribed something wrong. Instead of waiting in an ordely queue like everyone else she burst in our dispensary staff door. When she was told to get out she took personal offence and got her practice manager to write a long letter to me complaining and threatening our pharmacist. We told her to get lost.

But her attitude was very much like she was something special did not like being told to go forth and multiply and behave queue up like normal people

No it wasnt she used unauthorised entry into an area which by English law she is not allowed to but she wanted my staff to show her deferance as she was a doctor.

She could have stated to people in queue it was an emergency and politely requested instead she threw her ample weight around

He wants increase the additional rate of income tax to 50p, up from the current 45p. It's not the CEO's and major shareholders who will be hit, but again those who have worked hard to get where they are. It's also not attractive to any talented workers who want to locate to the UK.
He's spot on with the 10% healthcare levy to replace inheritance tax.
He also said he will cut business rates, but let's see.

Markets don't trust him, On 10-year gilts, considered a benchmark for Treasury borrowing costs, it rose around 0.05 percentage points, from 4.76pc to 4.81pc. UK borrowing costs will go up.

He tried to fill NHS with doctors who are qualified while British ones will not take residency, they go for post grad and are experiencing demand glut because how many Cardiologists can a hospital have?

The PLAB test can be taken by anyone from the subcon. Passing it however is up to the students (doctors).

yara to hell with markets they protect those that dont need protections

On tax someone has to pay for health, welfare, roads police etc. I want to live in a country that cares for the poorest.

On housing I live in a house worth about a million pound I currently pay about £4200 in rates a year. under his scheme so 0.48% is only some £600 etxra per year but you say he wll get rid of stamp duty so that should push house values up a bit

5p on income tax is not a killer on 100K salary i think will be 2-3k a year more

getting rid of inheritance tax is great as only raises about 6 billion and those that have hundreds of millions can set up trusts and avoid so only people who get caught in trap and have to pay are those that have estates say under 20-30 million.

My youngest son had strep A a few years back and thanks to god he completely recovered but needed an emergency brain operation in 2022. On 25th Dec 2022 xmas day I wil never forget that day 3 teams of doctors (20 docs in total no Indians but 2 chinese 1 Pakistani and many white English) operated on him operations lasting from 11.30am to 10pm, He was paralysed and like a vegetable and stayed n hospital for 3 months, No one ever asked me for a penny, And today he is completely recovered and in one of the top 2 state schools in the country (selective)

I want the servise my son got for everyone.

We have to pay into system for this, So If Burnham says we need a bit more so be it i can live with that. I already pay hundreds of thousands in tax but am reconciled that if i want to live in a place that looks after all we all that can afford it have to pay for it
