Britain has the best medical schools in the world. Indian unis are no where near British unis in rankings.

The only reason Indian doctors are being favoured is because the NHS managers want to keep salaries low by lowering standards.

Which allows Indian doctors to qualify and then get jobs based on their medical experience in India.

British doctors want that Indian experience to be excluded (during interviews) because it was not based on higher British standards.

And anyway, a country should not be importing skills it does not need.

You're inventing theories. The reason Indians are in NHS at all is they can speak English, the curriculum is almost similar and Indian doctors has more clinical experience. They screen through PLAB, which is again a neutral agency there is no larger conspiracy I there. What advantages does an Indian have there which a Pakistani or Bangladeshi don't?

Indian doctors emigrate because they have better pay and relaxed working hours. Some even emigrate to hunt alphabets (FRCS, FRCP etc...) so they can come back and work for a better pay back home. The salary of a super speciality doctor in UK is not that great considering the expenses while they can make a killing in India. A Cardio Surgeon in India make ₹1Cr a year if he is good.
