Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

What's changed?

The Americans are launching airstrikes on Iran. Whether these are carried out directly from the US, Europe, Israel or Diego Garcia, doesn't matter. They bomb Iran as and when they like.

Is that confusing for you or something?

Why are you expecting US military to operate according to Iranian wishes and strategies?

That's like saying Iranian warships should sail through the Suez Canal like it did in 2011 and attack Israel.

How about sending Iranian warships to the US coast and taking revenge for Khamenei's assassination?

10/06/2021: Iran sends warship on rare Atlantic mission amid Venezuela speculation: The Guardian

Is Khamenei Jr going out and about like he used to or is he still hiding two months on?

If no, why is that? Donald Trump isn't hiding and neither is Benjamin Netanyahoo.

So much blabber.

08/04/2026: Ceasefire announced.
27/05/2026: The United States carries out airstrikes on Iran.
21/06/2026: The US carries out air and sea launched strikes on Iran.
26/06/2026: The US military launches airstrikes on Iran.
27/06/2026: The US Navy and Air Force fighter aircraft launched airstrikes on 10 targets in Iran.

Please tell us how many Iranian missiles have landed in the US or its permanent military bases in 13 European countries? Go on.

Why would you want the US military to bomb Iran again? 😱

Just so you know they stopped because they had ran out of the main military targets for which the US military had requested 6-8 weeks to complete.

In the next round, it is assumed that the US will carry out large scale military airstrikes on Iran's economic infrastructure like those that were carried out on Serbia in 1999 after NATO had ran out of military targets

Go away .

And Pabitra Margharita is a practicing Hindu, and a staunch BJP guy through and through.

Okay, my bad on that. The name suggested Christian and I did use 'apparently' in my post. I should have been more careful about their religion.
But my point remains: They are very low level officials to be sent by a large nation like India to its so-called 'civilizational' ties 'neighbor' like Iran when no less than the funeral of Iran's Supreme Leader is being held.

US is not keen on maintaining the naval blockade. Otherwise the blockade would never have been lifted. Not only did they lift it, they reportedly purchased Iranian oil. They need oil volumes flowing out. They need to rebuild their reserves. Iran can easily throttle it. Market manipulation won't work once they begin to run short of physical oil. A naval blockade by the US is cutting off your nose to spite your face.
Some above had posted that the US Navy can just sit in northern Arabian Sea 'forever'. No, that can't be sustained 'forever'. It is one thing for a land army to be deployed for a long period in a hostile posture but not for a navy. India had deployed a large number of troops at the border with Pakistan in a hostile posture in 2001/2002 and they stayed there for a long time because they could afford to.
I am sure there are many here who understand the limitations of a navy for long blockade. Heck, even for US Airforce is bringing back some of its jets stationed in Israel.

At the same time the stakes are too high for the empire to just give up, as the petro dollar and GCC investment of oil revenues in the west underpin the current world order that began with the Portuguese colonization 500 years ago.

Yes, the Petro Dollar and the old lucrative order of the gravy train is itself in danger. Stakes are high. Too high for both sides.
You know It is not the same to take off with 6 tons of bombs from Qatar or even Saudí Arabia that take off from Cyprus or Israel and fly for hours before entering Iranian air space.

Fly times consumes more fuel, more flight hours, requires more Tankers in the Air (something you can count. At least 6 at the Air at the same time). They need to be closer to the Iranian Air space (and therefore easier to shoot down).

It's not even debatable to compare jets flying from a long distance to come to bomb Iran vs the jets within a shorter distance of Iran. Those many American bases in the region were/are there for some very good reasons.

You might want to be quiet about things you know nothing about.

That "low level officer" (Syed Ata Hasnain) was once India's Director General of Military Operations. He also commanded two spearhead corps of the Indian army. He was also the commander of the Rashtriya Rifles, and in that capacity he decimated the Kashmir insurgency. In short, he was trusted with, and responsible for keeping Kashmir Indian.

Syed Ata Hasnain

And Pabitra Margharita is a practicing Hindu, and a staunch BJP guy through and through.

And by the way, India's diplomacy and diplomats are not selected by their religious credentials.

Iran will loudly thank India and consider it an honor to host Pravitha and Syed Ata.

Very soon a statement will follow along the lines.

Iran struck back in response to all these incidents. The US only carries out strikes when Iran attacks ships in the strait of hormuz. They stopped this war because they were running out of interceptors. Why would the US suddenly stop after running out of military targets? Since when has the US/Israel taken pity on its enemies?

There is talk about the funeral of the SL in Iraq…that possibly The Zios will try to assassinate the current SL…is this out of the bounds of reality or does it appear this is a possibility?! If so are we looking at the weekend as being the watershed moment of the war so far?

Mojtaba is not available for the moment

He isn't going to attend probably

The damage they've done to Iran is multiple times more than 300 billions, at least 5 trillions if we count the psychological damage to the Iranian people they terrorized and all the PTSDs

Iran should ask at least 5 trillions of reparations

And ask 500 billion per year deducted from Israeli welfare

Khamenei funeral is in few days, Iran must be increasing surveillance over terrorist groups
