It isn't aimed at China. This is a multi year project aimed at building terminals near Malacca for transhipment.
We can already choke of Malacca, there is a naval base out there. Lob a few rockets like Iran did and the straight is closed. If that was the sole plan it's already achieved. The current plan is to make money off the straight where a significant percentage of international trade goes through.

Yes for commercial use it is a good asset.
If things go dirty, their options are limited via choke points, which could lead to a naval conflict.

Well if things go dirty, your ships or whatever assets you placed near strait of malacca would turn into 1000 pieces in moments notice.

It seems you have ZERO idea how much of a difference militarily and technologically is there between you and china. Forget being in same league, You are not even in same generation. Just keep your delusions in check.

Realistically india has zero capacity and no capability to take on china. China won't be affected with anything india do at or near malacca strait. Not even slightly.

second China can choke off water access through himalayas and see india fracture into various small fuedal states.

third China has land routes through russia to bypass straight of hormuz as well as the north arctic sea route
