Business dealings with the Trumps/Kushners/Witkoffs have gotten Showbaaz and Munir personal access to the White House, but, on an institutional level, the administration has not even bothered to nominate an ambassador to Pakistan, considering it a less important relationship than even Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

The U.S is not important, we know who they really are, but the relationship has to be managed to safeguard Pakistan

It's the deals being made with he Turkic world, with China, Saudi, the Arabs etc and beyond in the wider world that will be the basis of the future

It can be done, it will just need a shift in strategy and budget. But that will come at the cost of conventional ability vis a vis India. I can recall certain domestic programs like the tank program being affected by the budget squeezes as it had to be redirected towards CT efforts in KPK during the 2010s unless I'm mistaken, @Lion probably knows more.

Too bad we used to get CSF to fight terrorism from USA on western borders. Not sure how much more Shabaz need to kiss Trump ass to get that back.

Now though it would be stupid to divert $2-3bn from defence budget. Peace with India is impossible. They have finally set their eye on our water. War is coming soon.

Instead we need to held Balochistan/KP govt accountable for not spending more to secure their provinces. Balochistan with population of Rawalpindi district get Rs1200bn from Islamabad, spend 90% of that on non dev expenditure. Non of that have worked. Instead make them reform or deduct their budget from NFC for security purposes.

It is repeated many times, now by APC, that Army/FC hasn't reached the ambush site despite multiple calls (12-05). Lastly, the police called relatives for help, and DG ISPR also stated that the public helped the policemen.
Why couldn't FC/Amry send QRF or drones?

Imagine getting kidnapped by terrorists instead of fighting them. Lowly educated and lowly training have long term consequences.

But instead of spending more on education, keep lowering standards for recruitment and training. That will serve you well.
