Specs on J35 ?

Almost same as F35 but with 2 medium class engine currently it has either RD-93 or WS-13 but in future will have WS-19 (F414 class)

I'm more interested as to what exactly is the current status of the J-35, 'cause i'm not certain if China has ambitions of inducting it in their Navy - as reported.

So, if Pakistan is the first & only customer - our wait may be sooner than most F-16 Block 70/72 customers.

As for TAI's KAAN. It still hasn't had its First Test Flight (yet). Currently, they're using F-16 Engines as a testbed. They're years away & we still have rust buckets like F-7 & Mirages to replace.

They are fully committed to inducting that. Until few years back they were not focusing on this plane that much. But now they have picked up pace. Plus, they are developing a particular engine for this one also called ws19

The Chief of Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar today at a ceremony at the Central Air Command AOR confirmed the Pakistan Air Force’s plans to procure the Shenyang J-31 multirole stealth fighter jet from China. The CAS said that “the foundation for acquiring the J-31 Stealth Fighter aircraft has already been laid which is all set to become part of the PAF's fleet in the near future”.

I had told you guys years ago that Paf had already decided on a 5th gen aircraft---the J-31---.

The J-31 was too far ahead in development not to be the priority for the Paf---. The Turkiye product is atleast 15 years in the future---.

I would say pretty obvious. Although I wasn't expecting to be this fast. But now I see that plane as our part of our Air Force in next 3 to 4 years.

I thought they are going to get 5th gen fighters from Turkey instead all along ? J-31 revised version are going to ready to be deployed on Chinese aircraft carriers too.

The Turkish aircraft would be a 4.5 gen+++ aircraft---.

Indian can get both Su57 and F35 (other than Rafale), but for F-35 they have to Get one 4th Gen platform from US (Be it F16/21, F18, or F15), Also F-35 Deliveries are already in queue so it won't be before 2028.

The US has been extremely desperate to sell the F-35 to india---but the indians don't like the " kill switch " or the " performance control capability " in the hands of the americans---.

Although I am hoping China can come up with ws19 quickly and at least the last prototype they make of this plane is with ws19 engine. That engine is being made specifically for this aircraft.

No other 5th Generation aircraft we have planned would be from Turkey.
