Among 21th publications, I found Yusuf Qardawi's Fiqhul Jihad (فقه الجهاد) most comprehensive in this regard. He deals with lot of these questions in details. Gigantic book with over 1600 pages.

I do - and this is where I also revert to the idea of going back to Quran and Hadith because there is so much extension to all of this.

So when we provide an argument to this - it has to be backed up by those primary sources. Otherwise (and unrelated) you have these mass of practices and beliefs which have little relationship to Islam but derive from cultural and social norms amalgamated into Islam.

Deadly attack by Israel, it's not the big news, it's not the first time, even in Iran.
