Tughril-Class (Type 054A/P) Frigate | Updates & Discussion

Hi,

At the end of the day---we got a Brahmos missile---all critical elements mostly intact---.

Brahmos missile---that is normally facing away from pakistan---how did it manage to fly into pakistan---.

Did pakistan sabotage the launch of the missile so that it would land in pakistan---.

But if the indians intentionally launched the missile---why would pak military take it down---it was just one missile---how much damage could it do---.

Why take it out and disclose one's assets.
Americans gifted tomahawks Indians followed suit with Brahmos. We still knew a thing or two about it courtesy the Chinese cx1.

Recall the main incident in Mian Channu, which revealed deficiencies in Pakistan's Chinese-origin air defense system. It relies on outdated semi-active radar guidance that is ineffective against modern high-speed projectiles

LOL! Do you think india or Pakistan have capability to stop incoming missiles? haha... Forget about missiles, your air-defense couldn't even intercept incoming dozens of aircrafts on 27th Feb,2019 despite knowing the fact that Pakistanis will come. Also the areas which were targeted are one of the most militarized as that forms frontline defense. Talking about "deficiencies", remember indian air-defense destroyed IAF helicopter assuming it as PAF fighter jet.

If there will be exchange of missiles between india - Pakistan, 99% of missiles will go without interception. Don't even stress your mind by imagining Israel's like scenario. Israel is a tiny airspace with world's most dense and expensive air-defense + US assets and still its not impregnable. Even its most critical installation (airforce base) was hit.

I am sure thats a comforting thought. You just gifted us the crown jewel of your missile forces and you have no idea if the lack of reaction was "deficiencies" or the enemy was holding his fire.
But whatever dude.

Let’s rewind to Feb 26th first. The IAF penetrated deep into Pakistani territory, all the way to Balakot, and hit the target they set out to hit. NOT ONE SINGLE PAF JET even came close to intercepting them during the mission. The IAF jets came in, dropped their payload, and went back without even a scratch. The PAF was caught napping despite all the talk about their readiness. Your air defense was AWOL, bro! India’s Mirage 2000 jets flew in, bombed the Jaish camp, and got back like it was just a routine mission.

Now, about Feb 27th—PAF’s so-called "retaliation" was a joke. it was a total disaster for the PAF, no matter how much you want to dress it up. Sure, the PAF managed to send a bunch of jets towards Indian airspace in a rushed retaliation. But what did they achieve? Absolutely nothing of tactical value. The bombs they dropped were in open fields, not a single high-value target hit – talk about a complete face-saving stunt. PAF couldn’t even get near any real military installations. Dropping bombs in empty ground doesn’t make you a winner; it just makes you look desperate. Now, let’s address the big one: the F-16 loss. The fact that an Indian MiG-21 – a much older platform – shot down your precious American-made F-16 speaks volumes about the PAF’s performance. And don’t try to deny it – the wreckage with AMRAAM missile serial numbers was enough proof. Losing an F-16 in a fight with a MiG-21? That’s an embarrassment for the PAF, considering F-16s are supposed to be the backbone of PAF.

Moving on to your laughable missile comparison. Let’s make one thing clear: India’s missile and air defense systems are light years ahead of Pakistan’s. We’ve got the S-400, one of the most advanced air defense systems in the world. Pakistan doesn’t have anything on that level. India also fields the Akash SAM system, the Barak 8 for intercepting missiles and aircraft, and the QRSAM for mobile, fast-response air defense. Add to that the BMD system, which is designed to intercept incoming ballistic missiles. You think Pakistan has anything close to that? Absolutely no.

You mention the possibility of a missile exchange. Let me spell it out for you: Pakistan does NOT have the capability to defend against India’s missile arsenal. Pakistan’s air defense would be overwhelmed in minutes. For every missile you throw, India can launch ten. And while we’re on the topic of missiles, your much-hyped Pakistani missile systems like the Ababeel and Shaheen might sound impressive on paper, but they're nowhere near as sophisticated or reliable as India’s proven systems.

Oh, you wanna bring up friendly fire? Let’s not forget Pakistan’s own track record of embarrassing incidents. Remember December 6, 1971, when Pakistan’s Navy frigate PNS Zulfiqar got bombed by your own Air Force? The PAF misidentified it as an Indian missile boat and scrambled jets to strafing their own ship! Friendly fire at its finest. That was in the middle of the chaos right after India’s Operation Trident, where we hammered Karachi, sinking your ships while the PAF was asleep at the wheel. In 1987, you guys managed to shoot down your own F-16 with a misfired AIM-9 Sidewinder missile during an air patrol. Can’t even handle your own advanced jets without knocking them out of the sky. You’re seriously bringing up friendly fire when your forces are busy sinking their own ships and shooting down their own fighters?

And to top it off, another F-16 was taken out by... wait for it... a wild boar on the runway! Seriously? So before pointing fingers, maybe check your own history of blunders—it’s a long list.

Mirage and their Spice whores missed all their targets and bombed trees.......A PROVEN FACT WITH THE SETALLITE PICTURES.

PAkistan crossed the border when Indians expected retaliation and were fully ready supposedly in a broad day light and we bombed more trees than you martyred ...a proven fact since we declared we will only do what you guys did plus one. WE came, spanked you pulled Abhi nonedone out of your ass and you retaliated by shooting your OWN helicopter.

As for F16 world setallites and media tried and failed to even find shread of evidence of this Bollywood story........and here is the best of all.....

Do not even respond, just put the joker on ignore like I have, his stupidity thrives on the oxygen of attention you provide him. The quality of my experiance on PDF had gone up ten fold after placing him and DDG on ignore. Try it.

LOL! You are actually a little entertaining when it comes to fantasies & fiction. You know yourself all those fantasies defies facts & basic sense. Try to focus on facts and try again writing a better post. A post that is worth reading or to be taken seriously. I only did a quick glimpse and laughed as everybody else would do.

Some info to help you out in forming your next post based on concrete facts:

- FACT: Mig 21 shot down, pilot captured:
- FACT: Indian heli destroyed along with 7 officers killed
- MYTH: F-16 shot down

-FACT: Indian brigade HQs targetted, locked down and fired at. Video proofs given by PAF that how missiles were going straight for HQs and at last second pilot intentionally manuevered it at empty space to give loud and clear message.
- MYTH: A house/madrassa in Balakot was destroyed.
- FACT: Post-satellite imagery by ALL the reputed satellite agencies proved that pre & post strike images of house were exactly same and house was still standing. Sat photos revealed craters away from the target hitting trees.

Myths have no concrete evidence (photos, videos, sat images) to prove itself. Myths are based on fantasy stories. Your whole post is a pack of fantasies.

Hindutva logic wanted world to believe that several 2000 lbs bomb dropped from a long distance & altitude couldn't shake down or collapse the feeble / ordinary house. All that momentum of a 2000 pounder would have shattered any ordinary house to pieces even if sent without a payload.

About F-16 fantasy, a powerpoint slide was showed by indians that a dot/F-16 "disappeared" from radar screen. Well babies that was the stupidest mistake. That means, you knew exact coordinates where F-16 in wildest fantasy was shot down, so if you knew exact coordinates then you could have took satellite pictures of F-16's debris and proved your story. So that's why I say you will tell 100s more lies and conspiracy theories to defend one stupidiest claim. A day ago, people in indian media were shouting loud that even Modi jee was seeing the operation and some said, target madrassa was destroyed confirmed in ISRO satellites LOL. So piece of advise, stop moving around fantasy stories. Rely only on hard facts. The facts which are backed by documentary evidence. Otherwise, you will keep humiliating yourself by repeating same BS over n over again. Every western, pakistani or even indian reputed analysts laughs at such claims.

As far as Indian air defense is concerned, If your shrink indian airspace & indian land 50 times and multiple indian AD capabilities 100 times then maybe you will be able to stop 20 to 30 % missiles. Forget that india or Pakistan can stop incoming missiles. BMs not a chance. CMs maybe yes, at only specific locations.

Bollywood is a thing in India.

I'm glad that you found it helpful/entertaining, on top of being "cold" and "logical" because I sure felt like throwing some personal attacks after this

NO.
The HQ-16FE guidance radar DOES NOT EXIST on ships.
Do you see a giant ******* **** sucking tombstone antenna on the Tughril??? I don't, and I'm not blind!View attachment 43469
And that's because the SR2410C UHF Search and Guidance AESA radar took its place!

And, well, just perhaps, that the BrahMos, can I dunno, get shot while flying at a high altitude before being dead atop its target?

And that just perhaps, an area-denial SAM, originally specifically designed to stop high-alt nuclear bombers dropping nukes dead above them and the city they protect, is really good at not letting you be atop of them?
Hi,

Sir---looking at where we were prior to this addition---for us---it is like a 100% leap forward---.

Sailors will have to learn absorb this technology to get ready for what would be coming in the future---.

In the next 15 years---we will be close to the cutting edge of technology---.

Wow! I cant believe after 5 years you can with any sort of straight face say any of that bullshit about a Jaish camp, or F-16s getting downed or even the retaliation... The entire perspective of events presented by Pakistan has been corroborated by world media who had an open tour of the area, found no sign of any damage except a grove of trees AND the US did a full inspection of every bit of the PAF F-16 arsenal and found every F-16 to be there AND PAF captured your MFing Mig pilot! And you have yet to produce any other pilot that could say they shot down the Falcon. AND many well respected INDIAN defense writers have saod you got pwnd.

I really gotta try the crack you smoke. Must be magical!
