Chinese SAC - FC-31/J-35 5th Gen Stealth Aircraft

What's the point (or benefit) of making such a silly claim?
Zarvan makes things up as he goes along based on his emotions instead of what is factual or proven. He has a history of making outright false claims out of thin air.

China today with its increasing economic and diplomatic influence relies less on Pakistan's PR for its weapons than it once did. Sure it helps considerably in the case of 5th gens knowing its active conflict with India, but Pakistan is not a make or break player for Chinese military exports. That is a foolish, delusional and disrespectful claim for the Chinese who put their sweat and blood to reach parity with the global leaders!

China's new J-35A stealth fighter, which made its debut at the ongoing Airshow China in the southern coastal city of Zhuhai, is equipped with a homegrown engine and a human-machine interaction design that help it fully exert its combat effectiveness, the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force said on Wednesday.

At a press conference on the sidelines of the airshow, Xie Peng, spokesperson of the PLA Air Force, said that the J-35A, with its domestically developed engine, represents an important addition to the PLA Air Force's fighter aircraft fleet.

Meanwhile, Air Force officer Li Lanxing said that during test flights, pilots found the J-35A highly maneuverable, with excellent handling and user-friendly human-machine interaction, enabling full combat effectiveness.

The J-35A test flights are increasingly focused on real combat scenarios, with more emphasis on combat effectiveness, Li added.

The fighter jet has robust joint combat capabilities, said Wang Yongqing, chief expert at the Shenyang Aircraft Design and Research Institute of the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC). The AVIC is the primary contractor for the development of China's aviation weapons and equipment.

The J-35A's information and system architecture was designed for seamless interoperability, providing strong standalone combat capabilities and enabling coordination with other battlefield equipment, which will open up new possibilities for future missions, said Wang.

Unlike the J-20, a heavy stealth fighter designed mainly for air superiority, the J-35A is a medium-sized multi-role stealth fighter capable of both air superiority and strike missions against ground and maritime targets.

Together, J-20 and J-35A feature both air superiority and multi-role capabilities, greatly enhancing the Air Force's ability to conduct offensive operations in high-threat and contested environments, said military expert Wang Mingzhi in an interview with Xinhua.

"The successful development of the J-35A has enabled China to possess two types of stealth fighter jets, providing the Air Force with enhanced capabilities to safeguard the country's sovereignty, security and territorial integrity," Wang added.

Big Embarrassment For US As Pentagon Official Uses Chinese Fighter Jet's Photo For Veterans Day

The Pentagon’s F-35 Joint Programme Office has come under fire after a now-deleted social media post appeared to feature a Chinese fighter jet in a Veterans Day tribute.

The post, shared on Instagram and X, featured an image of a twin-engine fighter jet resembling China’s J-35, a model often considered the Chinese counterpart to the US’s F-35 Lightning II.

According to the South China Morning Post report, the social media post, meant to honour America’s veterans on November 11, read: “Today, and every day, we thank all Veterans and those currently serving for their service and sacrifice." However, the image of the Chinese fighter jet below a banner featuring the American flag quickly caught attention of the users on the microblogging platforms.

The F-35 Joint Programme Office initially kept the post online but disabled comments in response to the growing criticism. Eventually, the posts were deleted, but no corrected version of the Veterans Day message has been shared as of yet.

The aircraft shown in the image is considered by many to be the Chinese equivalent of the American F-35, a fifth-generation stealth fighter developed by Lockheed Martin. The F-35 is a cutting-edge aircraft designed for a variety of military roles, including air superiority and ground attack missions, with supersonic speeds and advanced stealth capabilities.

The incident has sparked heated debates on social media, with many users expressing their dismay over the blunder. On X, several posts shared screenshots of the deleted post, with some users accusing the Pentagon’s office of disrespecting veterans.

One user called the post “embarrassing and disrespectful," adding, “This does not instill confidence in our military or government."

Another user wrote, “The Biden admin just posted a Chinese plane to honor Veterans Day…The JPO is the official Joint Strike Fighter office… aka responsible for the the F-35… The pic is of a Chinese stealth fighter… the knockoff of the F-35."

“China’s fighter jets are so good that the US military uses the J-35 as a propaganda poster material instead of the F-35," another post read.

Meanwhile, a user commented: “If you’re wondering just how incompetent our government is, the F35 JPO is showcasing a Chinese aircraft on veterans day. Absolute imbeciles."

J-35 just came out for a week, so US military propaganda department must have mixed up a couple of J-35 Photos with tons of F-35 photos and decided the best looking F-35 photo is a J-35, and picked it and posted for US Veteran Day.

if this model is actually real and has any credibility, then the first J-35A prototype has the number "3551".

What's this in red rectangle?

An IMO deliberately made error on this model representing the well-known avionics bay to look larger and as such like side-weapons bay. We all know, the J-35A has no such side-bays and won't ever have any unless they are not totally redesigning that bird.

So will it carry WVR missiles on external hard points then? As I doubt you'd want to fit WVR missiles in the single internal weapons bay with BVRs

"Dominant lead in terms of onboard avionics"

What a total clown as he has no basis to make this claim.
