WTF is this. U have to be evil to do it to another human being like this. How can I defend Assad after watching this? I'm sure some of the rebels are not good guys either but I can see why there's such hatred among them for Assad regime.

It’s for the people to decide who they elect. Hamas did exactly what the people wanted.

While the US claims to promote democracy, the reality is that when it comes to Muslim countries it overthrows democracies and supports despots, like military dictators and monarchies.

That article you posted made it quite clear that the military dictator in Egypt, Sisi, was trained in the US and their military is funded by the US, so obviously they are puppets. It’s their own fault obviously.

I fail to understand how any country, including Pakistan, tolerates its military to be funded and trained by hostile powers. It’s like the US sending its officers to be trained in China and the military relying on Chinese money. Then the military overthrows the elected government and starts implementing Chinese policies in the US. That’s a crazy idea, but that’s what’s happening.

Based on review of history , Syrians will end up just like folks in Gaza and west bank (who are facing extinction) Syrian might think they have attained freedom but what is happening across the border from them has classic signs of another land grab


  • Dictatorships typically last 40-50 years max so fall of Syria is not uncommon


Without airforce or SAM , when Israel will have will or desire they can carpet bomb whole syria

Hope Turkey knows what they are doing because Israel is destroying all military infrastructure in Syria
  • Only more chaos and misery comes after a Nation's Military is disabled

While the new group in Syria claims to be "different" and open minded , they are being represented just as an extension of Al Qaeda

The small weapons that the new Syria faction claim to have , these are same weapons or less that hizbolla or Hamas had , riffles



What difference would it make if few arab nations will "Protest" about Israel sending in Tanks into Syria , they do this "Protest" for past 70 years for Gaza and West Bank


If Syria is indeed in hand of a better internal force , then why they heck is Israel stealing land and running confiscation operations ?
It makes no sense

About slapping that boy posted by FHN, security forces did the least right thing to those who undermine national security. Slapping is the least, they should have hanged each and everyone of them.

Anti state terrorists such as TTP must be dealt with severly. Assad was too soft with them esp after issuing general and public amnesty and leaving Syria to US/Turkey/Israel axis of evil in the region.

Assad like Gaddafi was just a tool to keep the country as a whole. Without them Syria and Libya will be play ground of NATO and USA.

After the Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood success, you may observe that U.S. no longer promotes democracy, especially in Arab/Muslim countries. There is greater appreciation for the role of culture in the choice of polity a nation may prefer. The overreliance on democracy as a cure all for all ills of society went away with GW Bush. While it is true that Sisi went to school in U.S. and worked for some time here, his politics, especially Islamism was definitely homegrown and did not fit in with his military's ideals. That has no connection to receiving military aid from U.S. Turkish military also views itself as a strict enforcer of Kemalism (Secularism)
 
Let us look for a Pattern
The world we live in is made up of these patterns

What we are seeing is "Reset button" being pressed , to reset the governance of Nations and countries will be pushed back 50 years so they will remain substantially behind other world nations


The main actor , playin the part of ruler will change and instead a new actor will take position and he will repeat the role for next 30-55 years till another reset will take place (only if you are allowed to repeat the cycle of governance)


In all below cases , the military man was first promoted / accepted as a wise man later called a dictator

Iraq = Had a Military man (Saddam) who toppled own government

Libya = Had a Military Man (Gaddafi) who toppled own government

Syria = Had a military man (Assad), who toppled own government

Iran = Had a military man (Shah), who toppled own government

Egypt = Had a military man (Hosni, Sisi), who toppled own government

Pakistan = Had a military man (Ayyub, Yahya, Zia, Musharaf, Bajwa, Hafiz) who toppled own government

Turkey = They tried to install a military man - but it failed


  • One group Humans will be working with AI , Quantum Computers , Space research and advance science, owning social media , owning Internet , owning science and research

  • Other group will be trying to get 2 loaf of bread on table living in poverty
    • Being slaves pretty much
    • 2nd class treatment
    • Low life style
    • No human right as we see in Gaza /Westbank
    • We are already seeing signs of this poverty and lack of human rights in our life time

However , if the ones in power decide , you are to be exterminated , if you will be technologically behind you will be exterminated
It is the way of the world



  • This illusion of good Muslim and bad Muslim , is only visible for 2-3 year timescale , if you view the big picture . All Muslims will be facing the fate which is being faced by Gaza and West Bank. You really have to look at history from time scale of about 150 years to see these patterns


Some folks will say , oh , we are different then those other Muslims , or you know we ain't like that , those Iranians or Syrians were crazy but
if you really view things deeply you will see all the nations had same issue

See their recent betrayal of Hezbollah, their supposed closest "ally".

It is comedic.

The same guy also uses the same pro-Iranian regime 3-4 Twitter users (Lebanese Shia Arabs) who use the same disproven talking points 24/7.

What a shame that we have no Syrians around, they would have a field day with such propaganda attempts from the usual suspects here.

You guys don't know anything. The civil war in Syria just started. Syria must become a war-torn and divided region. This is Israel's goal, America will also implement it.

And you are absolutely right. To the extent history and culture influence current policy, China has been remarkably reluctant to project force far beyond its borders.

They are an ancient culture who believed themselves to be the centre of the world. And only the centre was important, the rest was irrelevant.

In fact, such was their insularity that they even refused to acknowledged the invading British in the 19th century! That was one of the reasons that led to the infamous destruction of Old Summer Palace in Beijing by the British Army - to make a point about who was in charge.

But when China takes action near or along its borders, it acts with force. The Korean War, or the hugely underreported war with Russia in 1969 or Vietnam in 1978 are examples

Like anything else, it has its positives and negatives.
