All of these systems have alternatives available locally, as Egypt recently succeeded in developing and manufacturing a local fire management system for FCS tanks known as “Strike.” It also developed and manufactured the commander’s thermal vision scope within the fire management system, and Egypt also designed and developed a local command and control system for land systems and mechanisms. It was revealed during the Egypt International Defense Industries Exhibition (EDEX).

Egyptian fire control systems have limited capabilities with a low range. Up to 4 km at most, it is only suitable for light armored vehicles. M1 tanks have a range of 10 km +. The modesty of development programs and their lack of modernity is due to the fact that spending on development is very low and there is education considering it a risk and it is necessary to obtain approvals from senior state officials and sign it. Therefore, there is no real development and there is no efficiency because they are governmental and military ports that do not have any professionalism, only discipline in performance but without innovation or creativity.

The real reasons for the US release of this deal to Egypt are not a desire for cooperation or a real benefit for Egypt

1 - But to obstruct and stop any Egyptian and Iranian economic and military cooperation programs. Egypt is simply cooperating with Iran in producing components for ballistic missiles and drones to reduce costs. The Iranians were able to produce ballistic missiles and drones at a very low cost, even less than China and Russia, while raising the level of this equipment and developing it in light of its low cost. Also, preventing cooperation programs with Indonesia, India and Pakistan in providing medium-performance components from various sources other than Russia, China, the United States and Europe to add flexibility, vitality and continuity to Egyptian production of armament equipment without being exposed to any pressures that force the Egyptians to develop their own equipment and benefit from the low cost of these countries and continue the strategy of not spending on scientific research and development to import weapons through companies and continue the import business and the profits of suspicious agents for these bad deals

2- Completing the blockade of Iran after losing its influence in preparation for striking it. There is anger from America and the Gulf towards Egypt because of opening a field of cooperation with Iran instead of completing the blockade of it. Egypt's interest is to cooperate with Iran and neutralize Turkey so that America does not monopolize control of the Middle East and create Israeli influence to expand and occupy Arab lands against the interests of all countries in the region, especially regional countries such as Egypt, Iran, and even Turkey, which America uses as a tool of destruction against all countries in the region.

3- Controlling the level of armament of the Egyptian army by providing programs to supply weapons with limited capabilities only, maintaining the basic capabilities of the equipment of the eighties with the same specifications without developing them to the current global levels.

Hellfire missiles with a range of 8 make the Apache and platforms and AW-149, AT-802 easy to shoot down and target with shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles and short-range air defense systems instead of longer-range AFV missiles outside the targeting framework, and their high price restricts obtaining sufficient quantities. The same thing applies to developing M1 tanks to a modest level that guarantees The superiority of Israeli tanks over Egyptian tanks

4- Providing a large volume of work for American arms factories as a prime contractor at very high prices to reduce its international value to achieve great profitability for American arms companies and at weapons prices that cannot be sold to them at their very high value except by restricting armament outside the United States

5- Linking Egypt's armament to the United States for the tank development program for 10 years, which is a very long period. Since the establishment of Factory 200, America has maintained a very low and uneconomical level of production and operational efficiency to ensure that the factory does not develop and improve its operating economics so that it cannot develop its capabilities and potential or achieve real profits for it that allow it to finance any development programs. All of this is a continuation of the failed management of these bodies and leaderships with modest performance to ensure the continuation and existence of this factory without any development that puts it in the international market, so ensuring that no products from the factory are exported outside Egypt as a result of outdated and outdated products that are produced locally and cannot be exported abroad because they are technically backward from what is currently available globally

That is, the American vision aims to obtain There are several goals of these deals that do not develop the Egyptian army, but rather increase the number of equipment with modest performance.

In a bold move, the authority plans to launch a local production line for light combat aircraft and advanced training aircraft. Lieutenant General Mokhtar Abdel Latif, Chairman of the Board of Directors, revealed this ambitious vision in recent press statements.

The authority is working closely with the Egyptian Armed Forces and international partners to develop and produce advanced, locally-made military training aircraft. The Helwan Aircraft Factory is the cornerstone of this project, having proven its ability to produce aircraft that meet Egypt’s defense needs. One of its most notable achievements is the production of 120 K-8E training aircraft that are supplied to the Egyptian Air Force.

he Egyptian Ministry of Defense has received a global tender to purchase 36 advanced training aircraft to replace the aging fleet of Alpha Jet aircraft. This tender attracted major global aviation companies, such as Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), Italy’s Leonardo, and China’s CATIC.

The Arab Organization for Industrialization signed a cooperation agreement with KAI to localize the technology for manufacturing advanced training aircraft T-50/FA-50 Golden Eagle and light combat aircraft. This agreement aims to replace Alpha Jet and K-8 aircraft with 100 new aircraft, 70 of which will be manufactured locally.

Lieutenant General Tarek Abdel Fattah, head of the Aircraft Factory, confirms the organization’s keenness to ensure a full transfer of production technology, with the aim of establishing a local production line that enhances Egypt’s self-sufficiency in the field of defense.

Military doctrine of the Egyptian Armed Forces

For a long time, Egypt has been relying on joint weapons, and this is clear in all training and war projects. No, this is at a higher level. You also integrate with surrounding armies in orders and data, and this is very apparent in the Bright Star exercises, despite the difference in important languages, which are carried out with joint weapons from different countries.

Contrary to popular belief, the Egyptian battle system or military doctrine was English until 1973..

This means that the formation of the infantry, mechanized, and armored divisions was similar to the British formation, not the Soviet formation.. up to the level of organization of the General Command and the Chief of Staff
It was largely influenced by British regulation..

Egypt borrowed from the Soviet doctrine what suits it..

By the way, there are no fundamental differences between the different combat doctrines

@GoMig-21 @The SC @Foinikas I think Egypt must intervened in the reconstruction of the Syrian Infrastructures, Armed Forces etc... We must seize the opportunity as we did with Iraq
Sissi should have acted earlier. Now Turkey got the lion's share. And rightly so,because they had been behind the developments for years. Their friends took power,so now they get to have a client State and bases in Syria, exclusive deals and more allies.

I don't think Sissi would want to make it seem like a Muslim Brotherhood government in Syria is legitimate or at least help them.

We can't lose the interests in Syria. We must invest.

I’m not celebrating assads departure because of what’s coming next. Manner of fact, it’s already started…IDF moved into southern Syria taking towns. Now there’s word that golani, or gugu as I like to call him, is said to cooperate with traitors from Egypt to try and bring egypts government down. Next up the fight takes place in Libya. If there’s anywhere Egypt needs to invest in its eastern Libya. Russia left Syria to focus on their war against Ukraine. Russia is said to have salvaged whatever weaponry the Syrian army once held and is giving them to Egypt to help strengthen them against potential Turkish intervention in Libya via “diverse Muslim freedom fighters”.

Assad needed to go. He is a tyrant and war criminal. Who knows maybe the Golani at the end will be good. Who knows? The problem is that Syria is multi-ethnic and religious society so it isn't united.
