To all saying India should not do this or that. No matter what India gives as freebies, it will never work. Remember congress rule time visa was made harder for Maldives because of issues. So this is not new.

Maldives is fully radicalized ( watch hotel staff video treatment to Swiss couple) so very easy to hate Kafir and now India is more unabashed Hindu so even more hate for kafir. So until Maldives are not ready to accept who we are and accommodate secular thoughts , I say F them. Let China screw Maldives. Personally keep giving high maintenance nations to China. Just stay engaged with same low heat so China have to keep maintaining high stack.

One thing I hate about Modi is this Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam idea. It does not work with all. Same at way Gandhi philosophy of “give another cheek” shit don’t work everywhere.
