Why are you laughing @Yommie ? Do believe what you want but there's no DSI on top intake of J36, DSI is not necessary on every fighter jets

Its not DSI but if top intake has a ramjet if some respected Chinese members saying like @Michael this is a Boundary Layer separation duckt for smooth airflow to the ramjet like SR-71 and somehow mirage 3 mice intakes

Surely not! Credible poster on Weibo even quoted the designer of that fighter and he himself noted all engines are the same, there is NO RAMJET or whatever strange thing and the final engine will be a VCE.

But otherwise some respected Chinese members say that 3rd engine could be RAMJET

And please sir explain me if top intake has a DSI then why rest of 2 intakes have don't?

It is also not necessary to argue with everyone.
I am sorry but I can see sometimes there are upto 2 pages of a thread filled just with your arguments and disputes with other memebers.

Without canard and vertical stabilizer, the flight control team of CAC once again did a great great job.

I suppose the lower 2 intakes can adjust air flow rate in high speed, such as mach 2-3.
