I'm going to explain things very simply for you so that you understand - if Iran (and/or Afghanistan for that matter) vanishes tomorrow, Pakistan's problems will still exist in their entirety.

If India vanishes tomorrow, Pakistan’s problems will become almost zero.

India vanishing AND a simple wall on our western frontiers will render Pakistan’s problems fully resolved.

India vanishing is a task which can be done by two countries and not one. We are small in size and can’t win which is reality. If we add china in the equation, chances of us capturing Indian lands increases. China is only watching. They aren’t sure whether to intervene next time or not. Pakistani defensive policy is weak where india blame every attack on pakistan and quickly attacks us like we are Gaza.

Jaishankar today said that Kashmir belongs to india and talk only happens on pakistani side of Kashmir. Look at the tune! While pakistan is still living in the delusion that Kashmir is disputed and only UN will solve it, I mean it’s pathetic defensive approach with terrible backward Stone Age foreign policy.

Thing is if we want solution of anything, we have to be aggressive. First thing should be to declare Kashmir as integral part of pakistan and if pak wants Chinese involvement then say to the world that Kashmir is an integral part of china and pakistan. This will put india in a dangerous situation where they genuinely think about Chinese involvement in case of war against Pakistan.

Second thing is to name and shame Iran and start attacking Iran as pressure is building up on Iran and Israel will take out Iran either today or tomorrow. It’s about time that Iran will become destabilize as it’s stability only giving us headaches.

Third is afghan taliban. Once pak declares Kashmir as part of pak and china, it will put more pressure on talibans because they are also friends with Chinese and will likely think about their own survival.

India telling the world that Kashmir is their part can become reality of pak does nothing and continue to push old narrative of disputed territory. Trust me, nobody cares and no UN can solve Kashmir. They are all our delusions. We think that india is standing in the same position as it was standing 15 years ago. Things has changed.

Time has come to cross borders and eliminate enemies. Time has come to persuade china to involve itself in one last final war with decisive pakistani victory and capture of Kashmir from where we can control rivers etc.

Iran and Afghanistan now working double shift just to target pakistan. As I said, things will change and it ignite a civil war like situation which india really wants right now. Problem is policy makers has closed their eyes towards impending dangers. They think we can handle it. Reality is we can’t, not at least by staying inside our own boundaries. Aggressive strategy is needed. In 2005, I sat with then IG Islamabad and said, you need to set up a volunteer program for citizen policing, enrole citizens give them limited police powers. Use the citizens to help be your eyes and ears in the community, gather intelligence, resolve petty disputes, help with traffic management, work in police public counters as information providers and sign posters.

Zero effort... The only person who liked my idea was Dr. Sultan Azam Taimoori who implemented the civilian traffic police volunteers.
