So far I have only seen visual proof of 5 but it is likely 10+

I think $1.5 billion is a very low estimate

I agree with you, our fleet of 170+ massive strategic/nuclear supersonic super-heavy bombers parked in the open at Hamadan TAB are highly vulnerable to these kinds of attacks

Sorry but what exactly are the strategic bombers you referred to? I remember Iran only has some Su24 and Su25 fighter bombers

He says we should be worried about a similar attack by Israel, but we have a (i feel sad saying that) pathetic air force for the moment, with no heavy bomber and nothing to threaten Israel besides patrolling in our own airspace hoping to ambush attackers inside the airspace

But even with that, i think Iran is less stupid than Russia and isn't parking the F-14s in the open and instead use hangars and underground airbases, but this is only feasible because we have way less aerial assets compared to Russia, so it's easier to protect them

just because they are slow to react to military developments and dont use aircraft shelters during a war doesn't mean their planes can't be useful for us

And to add insult to the injury, these are the guys that keep refusing to deliver jet fighters to us.

Credit where it's due, the idea of using civilian trucks for launching drones had been demonstrated by the IRGC a couple of years before. Ukraine's touch was the self-destruct mechanism.

do we still have su25? I know many were given back to Iraq. I haven't seen Iran fly any su25 in recent years or even mention them. I've seen no visual photo proof of them still in service either

we have Navab (naval version of Zoubin) for that

Navab hasn't been serviced out in mass enough. It is also more expensive. I was talking about a cheaper and easier options to install on ships like Sina FAC and others. Navab VLS is great but the roll out has been slow. The Zulfiqar Class Air Defense boat with 4 navab got shown once and no word about it since. Great product but no sign of it anywhere.
