Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Who here advocated sending Pakistani jets/missiles to Iran ? You are setting up strawman arguments. Help Iran in this war to the extent you can, diplomatic, technical, aid, spare parts and you will transform your relationship with a neighbor because you helped them in their time of need. In the future Iran will repay you many times over and be actual strategic depth for Pakistan, as opposed to idiotic strategic depth project Establishment pursued in Afghanistan for 50 years.

Turks and Chinese remember assistance from Pakistan in their time of need and have repaid it many times over. But Pakistan is missing this chance with Iran.
There's a strong chance that in terms of behind the scenes technical aid, spare arts, and obviously diplomatic support is already being given.

But what many here were advocating for was full inclusion and defense of Iran. There were actually posts of people mentioning ballistic missiles and jets specifically.

Again reacting to every escalation rather than trying to be proactive in any sense, and still no declaration of war and requesting negotiations.

So I have to assume these planes were non working or else

1) why weren’t they flown to Pakistan or the far East?

2) why aren’t they in the air patrolling?

3) even if non working why are they sitting outside in broad daylight without even a tarp or something to make it look like something else

That's a good thing they destroyed them, Iran will not have the "we have still F-14AM+++ so we don't need to buy fighter jets"

Hopefully it will push Iran towards China and Pakistan and buy fighters with local production line

not clear from that angle but would make sense

I wonder what they are using to surveil every movement of AD systems to Tehran

F-35 and their RQ-180 clone

That’s my theory on whose doing the bombing

Traitor Iranians and indians have really smacked Iran hard.. what a tragic loss of F14s

Nobody mentioned it but you, or you imagined it. Iranians will remember who helped them in this time of need and who stood by doing nothing. Its a chance to transform the relationship and turn Iran into another Turkey/China for Pakistan, if there is anyone with even a tiny bit of imagination in Pakistani elite circles.

I think this conflict will finally shut up the voices in military that are anti Airforce and call it waste of funds.

48-64 interceptors could have gone a long to keeping these skies clear.

Hopefully IRI gets the opportunity to learn from this valuable war lesson.

Iran tried to move large AD systems (Third Khordad) to Tehran today but it was bombed by Israel on the way

thankfully without the missiles

it shows (i) Iran still has plenty of AD systems in storage / other parts of country but (ii) cannot effectively deploy them while Israel is watching key routes 24/7
Dissembark it into as many parts possible and test luck with most visible thing which is vehicle itself and try to transport it over night and for god sake use less visible roads and unpredictable routes.
But you are creative people and will overcome somehow that problem also.
