Chinese SAC - FC-31/J-35 5th Gen Stealth Aircraft

I lost count already, roughly how many J35 do we have?
The PLA currently has a limited number of J-35s and J-35As, which are barely enough to form a parade formation (including backup fighters).

So, the number of J-35 series fighter jets appearing in this year's "September 3 Military Parade" will not be too many.

The official mass production of the J-35 series fighter jets will begin in 2026.
Maybe, in the 2029 National Day military parade, you will see a very large group of J-35 series fighter jets flying over Tiananmen Square.

The visual effect of J35 is more handsome than J35A, and I look forward to equipping WS19 in the future. Unlike the Air Force version, the Navy version is the soul of the J35, allowing this long developed project to truly land. Unfortunately, there is too little existing information, I can't wait to see it clearly!Screenshot_20250617_151427.jpg

The WS-19 Navy version is still undergoing harsh environmental testing and is expected to make its first flight this year or early next year. It is basically the same as the Air Force version, with only some slight differences in materials.

The construction of the WS-19 mass production line(Double pulse production line) will be completed this year. Mass production will begin next year. The maximum planned production capacity of the production line is 40~60 units/month. This capacity may not be reached in the early stage.

The configuration ratio of the J-35 series fighter is: one fighter is equipped with three engines (2x engines are installed in the fighter, and 1x engine is a backup).

The production line of WS-21 engine is still a traditional production line. Its production capacity is very small. Liyang Company has no plan to convert this production line to a pulse production line.

PLA's J-35 (Air Force version and Navy version) used WS-21 engine for related research in the early stage. Now, the PLAAF's official orders are all WS-19 engines, that is, J-35A.
PLA Navy is still using WS-21 engine for related tests and training. PLA Navy will adopt WS-19 engine in the future, but I don't know the exact time node.

In the future, WS-21 engine will be exclusively for foreign trade version. WS-19 is exclusively for PLA self-use version.

Wow, great news. I hope the J35 equipped with WS19 will soon enter service on an aircraft carrier, which will have historical significance. We are finally on par with the US carrier based fighter jets. The navy is an extension of mobile attack, and the day the naval system was established, there was confidence

At present, this batch of naval carrier-based versions of J-35 will use WS-21 engines. The naval version of WS-19 engines will take some time.
I went to the 624 Institute a month ago. This is the current situation. I don't know any more new information.

The Fujian aircraft carrier is expected to be officially commissioned this year. When it is officially commissioned, it will take several years for relevant tactical testing and training. After a few years, it will form combat effectiveness and officially join the combat readiness duty mission.

The naval carrier-based version of J-35 using WS-19 engines should join the relevant operations in the next few years.
