It is quite strange that USA can Arm up Taiwan , who technically belongs to Taiwan , seem illegal
This is a historical issue. In the communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, the Americans promised to gradually reduce arms sales to Taiwan until they were completely stopped, but did not specify the time for this process. Besides, it is normal for Americans to tear up the agreement. Pompeo said that the United States was founded on fraud.
In addition, the weapons provided by the United States to Taiwan are no longer a threat. Even the latest F16V is more out of commercial interests and political gestures to show that the United States will not abandon its "allies." It is hard to say whether this thing can take off in Taiwan, and it will be a live target in the air. It can't cause any trouble at all. The Americans themselves know this. The Americans are now telling the Taiwanese that it is useless to buy planes, and encouraging the Taiwanese to buy more mines. . . . . . . I really don't know what the Americans want the Taiwanese to do. Do you want to bury mines first and blow yourself up?

Because the United States is not afraid of retaliation from China.

The state is a violent tool of the ruling group, while the law is the embodiment of the will of the ruling group. The law is actually invalid for the ruling group.

And the United States is not only the ruler of this world, but also autocrat. China can only be counted as the leader of the opposition.

China's national interests are limited to China's neighborhood and global commercial interests. China is really concerned only about China's surrounding areas, and there must be no turbulent political situation in the surrounding areas that will affect China's development. It mainly refers to Taiwan, the South China Sea, the Korean Peninsula, the Indochina Peninsula and the subcontinent. In addition to Taiwan and the South China Sea, the main targets of attention are North Korea, Myanmar and Pakistan. Russia, Afghanistan, the five Central Asian countries, Pakistan, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and Nepal are all friendly countries of China. Although India has territorial disputes with China, the geographical environment determines that there will only be local conflicts between China and India (unless India is ready to annex Pakistan). India is not a friendly country, but it is not too hostile either. The Modi government is still willing to maintain peace on the border through negotiations, and given its strength, it cannot cause too much trouble.
As for other parts of the world, China has no interest in intervening or participating in the regional political process. China is not the United States, where we won’t just beat up anyone we dislike.
China is concerned about the development of its own country.
Also, a very strategic relationship with its neighbor Russia. China and Russia stand back to back together to guard the peace and stability esp of the vast landmass between the two counties and stand up to US and NATO. China doesn't want Russia to falter under US and NATO.

They won't do much just rattle up in United Nation , about China providing planes for Iran

Just veto their asses , they will sit licking the wounds

I don't think alliances between peers are workable. EU has mostly failed; SCO, BRICS, OIC and similar organizations are nothing more than an excuse for politicians to travel around and have a holiday at public expense.

SCO may have teeth when Russia degrades to a lowly member, India is kicked out, and China becomes the dominant member.

The only alliances that worked even remotely are NATO and Warsaw Pact because they were formed around a single kernel of power. Global geopolitics is not a game of democracy, it is a game of balancing dominant spheres of influence.

Trump understands this better than the his elitist detractors who mock him as a simpleton: Trump wants to deal with the dominant players that matter in global affairs: Russia and China. Everyone else is a bit player and can be ignored.

If Muslims are to see unity, it won't be a coalition of equals. Muslim unity will form around a single Muslim country that can stand tall in global affairs. Right now the situation doesn't look good. Muslim countries are a no-show in any emergent technology, even Europe is becoming irrelevant, and India got a rude shock that it was only 'relevant' at the West's indulgence.

The global race has narrowed to China v/s the US and the rest of the world is fast becoming irrelevant.
If you haven't already, you should read Samuel Huntington 'Clash of Civilizations and Remaking of the New World Order.' Fascinating book. He uses Saudis, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, and Malaysia as the Islamic civilization sole power and representative. He lists the strength and weakness for each country. He also predicted that Iran will come to the aid of Pakistan if India were to attack and occupy it. The book was written in the 90s when Pakistan was heavily sanctioned and would've imploded given its condition. Many here forget how bad of a condition it was in during the 90s. Maybe that was the plan - sanctioned it for a decade (90s) and then use 9/11 as an opportunity to disarm one of the most powerful Islamic nations and take away its nukes. These people plan for decades ahead. They tend to not leave anything to chance. But Allah SWT has other plans.

Pakistan survived the playbook , because we declared Nuclear weapons in 1999

Otherwise we were getting same treatment as Syria
  • Sanction on Fighter Jets , decaying Air force every 10 year
  • Falling behind in Technology
  • On and off , sanctions
  • Attack on our National Banks in Europe started after 1967 war in Palestine
  • Not allowing us to get newer Mirage

Having Nuclear weapon put us in the "Safe list" for now

Also inducting JF17 THUNDERS in numbers further moved us into safe zone , together with China's SAM missiles helped build a deterrence

We face similar Tech sanction as Iran when it comes to Missile Research or Space Research

China has been a Ultimate partner for Pakistan

I have heard about the book and already know his basic premise. I have no desire to read it because there is nothing new in these books. In the old days, you had to read books to understand the world but, in the age of internet, all these things are already available and discussed in a thousand places. In fact, by the time something gets into a book and gets published, it is most likely already obsolete.

To say that "Saudis, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, and Malaysia as the Islamic civilization sole power and representative" is meaningless nonsense. It's like saying which warlord in Somalia, Congo or Guatemala is the most powerful.

All Muslim countries are toys compared to the global powers, not just because of their pitiful military and technological capability, but because their leadership are clown cowards. How many Muslim leaders have invested in their country's educational system to bring them up to advanced levels of technological knowledge and competence?

They're all a bunch of village paindoos with zero vision, zero competence, zero anything to lead a country in the modern world.

Any sale from China to Iran should be proportional to Sale of F16 fleet to Taiwan

Need to arm Iran so their is a balancing deterrent

It's not aggressive move, just doing what USA did with Taiwan Airforce

Weapon Supply from USA/France to Taiwan
USA has provided 150 F16 C/D to Taiwan
French have provided additional 40 Mirage 2000 for Taiwan

Weapon Supply from China/Russia to Iran
So based on this figure , China should be ok to provided 100 J10C to Iran
2 Awacs
Russia should provide 30 Sukhoi 30 Jets to Iran

From a very balanced approach China/Russia should be able to act in a responsible manner to protect their National Interest

Strong deterrence is Iran having respectable Airforce

For China Iran is a important strategic partner in region
  • For China Iran is idea way to get back at USA , ideal way to make a statement. USA often acts as bully to arm up Taiwan and then it threatens China

At least from my own personal view , it feels like a Logical way to balance the void in region , the imbalance

But it is up to China if they feel Iran qualifies to get
  • J35
  • High Range , SAM Systems
And why you think we let ourselves to be pawn in China/Usa game ?!

How many Iranian jets has Israel shot down in this conflict? What has Israel claimed? How many new IAF aces were made in this conflict?

We saw some Tomcats(!!) destroyed on the ground, 3 of them(most of which people have said had been parked there fore years as spare parts sources). And some helicopters, and 1 large boeing. Beyond that, what is the impact on the Iranian Airforce as of now?

If there were lots of air-to-air kills, wouldn't the IAF announced that by now?
Back in WW II, the best way to destroy enemy air is NOT in the air but ON THE GROUND. And nothing has changed since then.

I hope the Iranian Air Force hire you as consultant.

Israel at the height of its operations could only maintain jets over Iran for limited periods of time for hit-and-run type operations due to the logics and distances involved. It is not a persistent air superiority because Iran is so far away for Israel. It is not like Syria where IAF could maintain continuous operations.
You obviously have not learned what I repeatedly posted...SINCE 2009...

- Air Dominance. The ability of an air force to compel other air forces to rearray themselves, usually into subordinate postures.

- Air Superiority. The ability of an air force to achieve control of contested airspace, repeatedly if necessary, and if there are losses, those losses would not pose a statistical deterrence to that ability.

- Air Supremacy. He flies, he dies.

Which part of 'Air Superiority' do you not understand?

Is Iranian airspace contested? Yes.

Have the Israelis lost any fighter in Iranian airspace? No.

So where is the statistical deterrence? None.

Is non persistence air superiority matter in this situation? Not even an atom's worth. So what if Israel is too far from Iran? The point is that if/when the Israeli Air Force is in Iranian sovereign airspace, nothing happens to them. It is only because of distance that the Israeli Air Force does not have 'Air Supremacy' over Iran: if an Iranian pilot flies, he dies.

Again, I hope the Iranian Air Force hires YOU as consultant.

does Israel dare to attack Chinese pilots ? wont you think they will wait for they be delivered first and then attack them?
Let us say that Israel decides to attack any J-10 entering Iranian airspace, regardless of the nationality of the pilots.

Realistically, what can China do?

I heard, and maybe am wrong, that a good chunk, if not majority, of degrees are in 'Islamic studies'. I hope it stays that way.

This reminds me of the history of the air war over Korea. US pilots didn't care who was flying the MiGs. They shot them down regardless.
