I wonder how much of them would be needed to sink a Ticonderoga cruiser or an Arleigh Burke destroyer

If i'm not mistaken Ukraine sunk a Russian patrol ship in one shot with UUV

if you are referring to the recent Russian loss, it was at least two suicide boats using jet ski engines.

Either way, Russian naval performance has been historically abysmal during this war. Even the Saudi’s and Arabs didn’t suffer this many losses against Houthi’s.

I imagine this concept can be applied in a vicious manner such as doing fake transit of goods to South America allies using these containers in mass, it would be enough to target Miami for instance, nearly N.Y and D.C if from Cuba

Iran needs SLBMs ASAP also, in a war, targeting P&W, Lockheed and other military infrastructure as well as Washington D.C White House would be psychologically devastating for the US and will lead to forced nuclear blackmail

There are surely military infrastructures and factories here, at least in Florida

If California is on the sight a lot of strategic points are here including bombing the Silicon Valley which would be a psychological terror for them

P&W and Lockheed stuff are surely dispersed around the country

Bombing the US wouldn't be only to damage its military infrastructure, but giving them an historical, powerful response, causing fear among the population and re questioning their government

If US wouldn't nuclear blackmail if it gets struck, i don't see what else they will do since it's all conventional, they will naturally have to strike back conventionally, and each Iranian death should equal at 10000 missiles launched on each state

Well if they even got close enough to launch a dozen or couple hundred missiles like you said it would be near suicidal for iran as a whole………..also I live in Fort Lauderdale neighboring Miami so please not there @tsunset.It’s fanboy fiction let’s be honest if and I mean if iran was thinking of using those modified cargo ships to attack anyone or anything it would be Israel or American assets in their own playground an attack on Americas playground would require thousands of these missiles to hit targets spread out all over America.

That was my point. If the ballistic missile was fired from Soleimani class, that means that 6 x VLS would be only for ballistic missile, leaving Navab as only aerial defense layer with the AHEAD automatic gun acting as a CIWS.

Anyway we don´t have any visual report, so this test could be done from other ships as suggested.

Let me ad something. If the video is acurate that means that Navab is not a RF missile even SARH or ARH... it is a TV guided missile, which is not that bad (very difficult to jam).
