PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

Pakistan doesn't need the J-20. That massive strike range and the larger size due to its range, is actually an issue for us. Our proximity is very close with our arch rival India. J-35 suits our needs.

Pak could've also asked China to R&D some design for us that would be smaller single-engined J-20. That would've worked also. But no J-20 please.
Everyone has an ass***e and an opinion.... you are probably gifted with two of each .

US current generation radar tech is running on Gallium Nitride or gen-2. For China, its previous gen tech because their stealth and 6th gen jets are using Silicon Carbide tech or gen-3.

US tech is on the same level as what's in the J-10C's radar, which was still a FULL generation ahead of the Rafale as French use AESA gen-1 tech (Gallium Arsenide) in Rafales. Which also explains why it couldn't interpret properly PL-15's AESA emissions.
Hi,

My reading says that the F22's are still running on the GAA platform and the older F35's still on GAS base tr modules for their radars.

Secondly---not all GAN or GAS TR modules are equal in performance---. Depends on how fast the modules cycle themselves ( is that the right word ).

No, it’s not getting more interesting but just more ridicolous & stupid!

Pakistan won’t get J-20; period!
Hi,

HELL Pakistanis---Gen Deino has spoken---. No J20 you you.

A single transistor on an AESA built on gen-3 SiC chip, processes 3 times more than a GaN chip. Meaning you get 3 times larger range! Imagine that. F-22 and F-35 are on GaN.

Both of your statements are completely wrong.

1. Official agencies of both India and Pakistan love to engage in wars of words. They often use unrealistic and false statements to intimidate each other. These statements do not represent their true views and true capabilities.

2. Weapon systems are a very large subject. No one can know all the knowledge. Whether it is a soldier, a designer, a skilled worker, a military fan... they only know part of the knowledge in their respective fields. This is a completely different field. What anyone in the PAF knows does not overlap with what military fans know.

About J-20.
China has not completely banned the export of J-20. So far, the only official report was in 2016, when Ma Xiaotian, then commander of the PLAAF, said: "目前歼-20暂时没有外销计划! There is no plan to export the J-20 for the time being!"

But the J-20 is not suitable for the PAF. You can end the discussion about it.
China would love the opportunity to test them J-20's in a real war and see how it performs

What background? It's Ash-white Burger paint in this room. Pay attention to the food, not the cook.
But you're are serving us boiled gritts ..... besides , you are the one who claimed a back ground

I don't, I just come to this thread for fun, few Pakistani members and one man Army @Deino Arguing over when J-35's will be coming, its just fun to read and enjoy :)
The most realistic people say that J-35 will come but not this year or maybe not 2026, but some people have already landed J-35's in Pakistan lOL
Rumors never harm actual acquisitions. Some rumors are spread on purpose as a diversion

Cont say about timelines of induction...

But one thing is sure PAF will induct 5th generation before IAF ...
