To be honest I don't know who is truely "leading", you would think "supreme" + "leader" means that he's leading, so I understand your conclusion. Why is this corrupt Mullah not arrested yet? Or at the very least forced to resign or 'retire'.
Does this mean the Supreme Leader actually agrees with what he did? After all he is the one who appoints the Friday prayer leaders.
Supreme leader talks about fighting corruption, stronger economy etc. We nationalists ask a simple question: then why don't you execute this man and his corrupt familymembers according to the law of Islam (hanging him/cutting off his hand/fingers at least)?
Now I'm not talking necessarily about this guy who relatively might have commited a minor crime compared to Debsh Tea scandal, but in general I don't see progress.
I mean look at the facts; even Trump has more power than this man. With 1 executive order in 1 minute he makes sure his ideas are carried out.
So why nothing happen in Iran? are we some EU country following time consuming democratic processes? No.
So who is who? who is leading? who is the "supreme" guy? or is Khamenei a puppet of "100 corrupt supreme leaders" in the background?
One would conclude the last.
