I would say at least full 2x sqd of UCAV in the near future. Pakistan is set to bump up its J-10C fleet, with numbers likely going beyond 72 aircraft, depending on available funding and strategic priorities. All in all, it’s a quiet but steady push to modernize the fleet with a combination of 4.5 gen strength and stealth potential on the horizon.

I think some changes need to be made to our requirements going forward. India is amassing S-400 on our borders, backed by two more tiers of SAM systems, able to track and lock PAF aircraft in 60-70% of our airspace, we need stealth and low observability going forward. Everything non-Stealth is a target.

In war time, if they start firing 3 missiles at each jet, how will be go aggressive? So outside of a few additional J-10C's, all other procurement need to be either stealth, or stealth optimized.

180 - JF-17 Block III + JF-17 Block II's (the rest) all on AESA and PL-15
40 or may be 60 J-10C's. That's it.
40 starting to X numbers - J-35 - Need in numbers.
PFX - Whatever we do here, single engine, twin, KAAN, etc, it needs to be stealth or stealth optimized.

Basically, either full Stealth or Stealth optimized are our future requirement number 1 for air assets.

JF-17 Block III production is suspended due to the export order from Azerbaijan. J-10CE 2nd squadron is on the way according to my source. J-35A no movement as of now.

There’s a growing possibility that in near future China could relocate the entire J-10C production line to Pakistan, allowing China to shift its focus exclusively toward developing fifth and sixth generation fighter jets. While China may continue promoting the J-10C internationally, any future exports would likely be manufactured and delivered from Pakistan.

On another note, the rumor that the U.S. has offered the F-35 to Pakistan is completely baseless. No such offer was ever made, and Pakistan isn’t pursuing it either, primarily due to the heavy strings attached and the strategic limitations that come with such deals.

Pakistan is interested in additional F-16 on massive discount and upgrade to current F-16s in the inventory.
 
Yes, Most probably very soon second Sqd of J 10 C will be received.
However, J-35 delivery is really confusing us. May be few example, we can get sooner as a big surprise.
 
F-35 option looks not feasible for both Pakistan and India.
 
Only option for PAF from USA is Used F16s or upgrades of existing ones... That it..

PAA learn the hard way ... That they can't depend on them .. they are good in putting stop on any thing at any time they want ..

Now that relation with america is becoming normal and slowly back where it was in the 70s, do you guys think the american would offer us the f-16v upgrade or even f-15ex? our forces could use to blow more rafales and prove that american and chinese systems are miles better than euros
