Sad news, it's heartbreaking but this has been happening for decades. Balochistan is a large area, sometimes army travels to 500km in no man land, this is where the militants are waiting to target army, the militants can reach their destination through 1000 different ways, the same way militants enter from Afghanistan in to Pakistan via 1000s of different ways. Militants also live in the mountains, hunt for food etc, and upon intelligence they employ hit and run attacks on the armed forces.

Even superpower like the USA will struggle to deal with this issue, it takes alot of resources to tackle this problem, for example millions of troops, aircover 24 7, aircover with military convey, militants hideouts must be located and destroyed, all their connections, sleepercells destroyed, handlers dealt with.

Pakistan only option is to give full protection to the troop conveys, armoured vehicles must be able to protect troops until they regroup and fight off attackers, a few ariel drones to give them intel on the attackers before the attack. There is no other solution, after 20 years we will be at the same place.

Absolutely, it's not something that can be stopped

Pakistan walks into its own traps by not enforcing a hard line on ANYONE caught spreading propaganda or anti state activity

Start handing out long prison sentences,
Start making the border a killing field for anyone trying to cross it illegally
Lay mines
Once you know who is involved, the bulldoze their homes
Arrest family members
Bring in friends and acquaintances, see what they know


All Pakistan is doing is trying to minimise deaths and keep killing enough yahoos to keep everything capped


Throwing out Afghans
Going after non- citizens and their economy
All this is a good start

Make the lives of your enemies painful a difficult

Target the Baloch population centers in Afghanistan and iran
Work with Iran to hunt mutual enemies

Pakistan has had some superb victories of late, both on the field and in foreign policy

Once again, the Hypocricy of Military is evident for all to see. The Military keeps saying "Indian Sponsored" but why they are they not attacking India specially when PAF has huge advantage over IAF?? What is stopping these Big Mouths from Taking care of the Snake India??

Come on. Those poor Naxals may be as politically motivated or more, but they are poorly armed. The day they have M4s, IEDs, night scopes, snipers, etc, then you can equal them.
Naxals have no free cross-border movement like BLA or TTP.

Then you have no idea. They are the master of IED blasts. They had AK 47, Night scopes and the most important thing: local support, intellectual coverage and terrain knowledge.

Another 3 terrorists eliminated in Zhob anti-infiltration operation​

Security forces have eliminated another three terrorists attempting to infiltrate via the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Balochistan’s Zhob district, the military’s media wing said on Tuesday.

The military’s anti-infiltration operation, which began on the night of August 7, has so far killed 50 terrorists.

“On night [of] 10/11 August 2025, a deliberate sanitisation operation was conducted in surrounding areas of Sambaza along [the] Pakistan-Afghanistan border,” the Inter-Services Public Relations said in a press release.

“During the conduct of the operation, three more Indian sponsored khawarij were hunted down and successfully neutralised. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed khawarij,” the ISPR added.

Fitna al Khawarij is a term the state uses for terrorists belonging to the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

The ISPR highlighted: “The number of khawarij killed in four days’ anti-infiltration operation has risen to 50.”

It noted that “47 khwarij were sent to hell” previously, following successful engagements by the security forces in the general area Sambaza of Zhob from August 7 to 9.

The military also shared collages of images showing an aerial view of the eliminated terrorists — all 50 of them numbered — as evidence.

“The security forces remain committed to secure the nation’s frontiers and thwart attempts at sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Pakistan,” the military reaffirmed.

Just a day ago, the US State Department designated the banned so-called Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and its combat wing, the Majeed Brigade, as a Foreign Terrorist Organisation.

The US said the move, long-desired by Pakistan, demonstrated its commitment to countering terrorism, while signalling strengthened cooperation and international coordination in the fight against terrorism.

Pakistan has witnessed an uptick in terror activities, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, after the TTP broke its ceasefire with the government in November 2022.

The country ranked second in the Global Terrorism Index 2025, with the number of deaths in terrorist attacks rising by 45 per cent over the past year to 1,081.

India may want to do it,
India may even support social media propaganda or try to provide funds

But they are a different enemy

THIS enemy is Afghan, it's Baloch

We need to target India for different reasons, but HERE we need to target afghans and baloch extremists and we are not doing it because they are worried it will upset their ethnic kin

So they are taking the most basic line of IBOs, when we need some serious pain being dished out

Balochistan insurgency is very very similar to our Naxal Problems.
You can't end it using central authority. Strengthen and Involve the local LEAs.

I dont know about the Naxal issue. Balochistan is solvable politically and by sharing provincial resources with the local people.

Unless if it is some hidden or internal information, I cannot recollect any image of Naxals bearing AK-47 in large numbers. They have used IEDs but not on a large scale like BLA and TTP. When was the last time Naxal used IED?

This is criminal murder and whoever is in charge of such mishaps happening for the past 5 years needs to be hanged

I don't care how much of a loyalist boot licker you are sending soldiers to their demise without a fighting chance inside Toyota tin cans is murder.

A new law must be passed or something against the use of toyota pickups in battlefield. Might as well use donkey carts.

Why would they be with the jawans? They have a specific job to do, and doing ride alongs in the middle of nowhere isn't one of them

They need to implement long term.plans and policy, from bringing down Afghanistan, kicking out the U.S and NATO, defeating India in the recent conflict they have achieved reasonable results

They need to go harder against Afghan and some baloch areas , go full hostile against the enemy
