@Panzerkiel is there an active Javelin/HJ12 kinda program for replacement of Baktar shikan missiles.
In last IDEAS there was Fire and forget version of Baktar shikan, is the program active?.

HJ-10 is not man portable its likely platform launched i.e. IFVs, Helis etc when will their be a proper man portable system adopted like the Javelin for infantry.

BS FF Is that project, that being said it remains to be seen if anything will come of it, PA as always is late to the game which is honestly shocking when you see the performance of the Jevalin in Ukraine.

Most critical and effective element in today's warfare against armored columns are loitering munitions.

On an advancing columns, fire a salvo of loitering munitions and it will take down dozens of armored units in one salvo. Tanks APS may be able to take down 1 to 3 systems but these cheap loitering munitions if used 3 to 5 per 1 tank, can wreak havoc on any advancing armored column without the need to directly confront the enemy. Russia-Ukraine war for the past year has been running on loitering munitions and standoff missiles mostly.

yeah but bsff isnt going to do a ton for the balance. strapping a seeker to a hj8 will not make a massive difference, lipstick on a pig etc

Which Red arrows are talking about, other RA-8 we don't have any RA in service.
