this comes at a time where 40000 soldiers have been deployed to Sinai to act as a strong deterrent and message to the IDF in case they think it’ll be another 6 day war. Based on the pics I’ve seen online I’ve only seen m60a3 tanks and ypr 765s from the Netherlands being deployed. Even tho they’re good models that have their roles I do hope they have upgrades for their armor. Do you think the Egyptians have contracts for their m60s for the phoenix III model since they’re not known to announce their deals for secrecy? I ask because it would’ve been beneficial since they’ve upgraded hundreds of their existing t55s into Ramses 2 tanks which is a mix of more modern western components and systems. It also wouldn’t make sense for Egypt to just leave their m60s in its standard variant since they’ve seen combat in Sinai against Isis insurgents and learned of their tactics. Plus Jordan next door has upgraded pretty much all their m60s into the phoenix 3 model dubbing it the el Hussein tank. It would absolutely make sense for Egypt to smack on a larger and more armored turret on the legacy model with better armor packages and using the same 120mm cannon used on the Abrams as well since it would be easier for logistics as well.
The real question here is are you dense?is this a joke ? even worse some kind of sarcasm ?
Gaza is gone and the kids are dead over 40,000 kids
if Egypt just stood and watched that would be bad
but what worse Egypt helped in the Genocide
Egypt could have ended this in 24 hours if they wanted too
Karma will get Egypt for this
The Israeli news site "NZIV", which specializes in strategic affairs and intelligence, has published an interview with Lieutenant -Colonel Dickel about the possibility of a sudden Egyptian attack on Israel.
"NZIV", who published excerpts from Dickel's interview, said that the interview comes against the background of the unjustified reinforcement of the Egyptian army in the past two years of the forces and heavy weapons in the Sinai Peninsula.
Lt. Col. Dickel, a researcher in infrastructure systems in the Arab countries, said that there is a process of adding about 720 tanks to the regular Egyptian army in Sinai.
According to Dickel, the Israeli army's plans to increase its forces increase fears of a sudden Egyptian attack.
The Israeli strategic analyst added that the Egyptian army has strengthened its forces in an unprecedented way in the past years, especially in the Sinai Peninsula region, although the peace treaty obliges Egypt not to put regular forces and heavy weapons on the Israeli border.
He explained that today, Sinai has become a strategic threat to Israel because of the presence of these huge regular forces of the Egyptian army.
Dickel indicated that the Egyptian army has thousands of tanks and armored vehicles, which is a huge armored force and is the largest in the Middle East.
This is totally different from 67..where Egypt and most Arab countries didn't have air defence systems.. look at just 1973 and you can see that Israel couldn't do much with most of its air force shot down despite the replacements from the US including USAF Jewish pilots..Egypt has been re-enforcing its forces in Sinai as a response to Israeli military on the Gaza/Egypt border, which is a violation of the peace treaty as well as constant Israeli attempts to throw Gazans into Sinai. But Israel will use this Egyptian deployment to claim it is now under threat. This mirrors the situation as existed before 1967 Israeli attack.
