Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

Did Iran even acquire anything after the arms embargo was lifted? I have yet to see a single SU 35, and no credible news of any other acquisitions.

A few YAK-130’s. Surprised the Israeli’s didn’t bomb those too (or maybe they did).

Nobody would sell Iran anything even without the embargo. China and Russia don’t want the heat from the West selling any big ticket items.

Is Qaher-313 truly a stealth drone? Has there ever been reports of this being in combat?

It is claimed to have stealth characteristics. It seems to be produced in limited numbers for testing like many other Iranian projects but the production rate can be increased if it can be converted to carry air to air operation remotely. Also ground station should be mobile and continiously change location redeploying every several hours or less. Once it is detected by satellites it is easy to be destroyed if it remains at the same location for too long just like other air defense assets.

Another problem is that for these platforms they need to have bvr capability. Iran has experience in Karrar drone carrying heat seeking wvr air to air missile but this is a cheaper expandable drone that can be used in numbers to get close to the target. Once it gets close to target the wvr missile can lock onto target passively by itself and it is fire and forget so it can be integrated to uav platforms much easier. However bvr missile needs radar updates of the target coming from the launching fighter jet/drone until its own seeker activates at the last stage and takes control by itself towards the target.

Bvr air to air missile like Amraam or R77 has monopulse radar for its terminal guidance and gets updates after launch from fighter aircraft to get closer to the target. Another less costly to develop-produce option for Iran and other countries is to use an infrared guided bvr air to air missile similar to R-27T(about 80km range) inside drones. The bvr missile can be a two stage missile as well with smaller infrared missile separating and guiding itself towards the target at the end and before that gets updates from the launching drone/jet. Guidance can be made crudely like command to line of sight guidance keeping the missile between the target and the fighter jet using the radar of the fighter jet. The initial requirement is just to target 1-2 targets simultaneously from longer ranges and launch these bvr missiles.

I already said this months ago and I also said that the supposed "SNAPBACK" legally (under international law) cannot be triggered by those who violate it.

NOTE: If Iran really leaves the NPT, it can already be considered that the country has an atomic bomb and perhaps an H-bomb.

In light of the USA withdrawal, and the failure by the E3 to remove all sanctions, the UN will have to clarify if the treaty has been "in force" and therefore is an active treaty or it has become invalid due to the failure of the signatories to adhere to all terms of the treaty, and as such, no other aspects of the treaty can now be enforced.

then you are just as foolish as Zarif and Araghchi and those who prefer to put their head in the sand and think just because the specific words are not mentioned that such a procedure with the same effect does not exist

Negotiations are useless with these people. Diplomacy is a deceiving facade. Their objective is not just limited to the destruction of the Iranian nuclear program. They actually aim to destroy the Iranian statehood. Let's hope that the Iranian leadership takes the right steps to prevent this from happening.

pretty ironic that the guy who calls Lebanese journalists animals openly says Israel will "go where they want, when they want, and do what they want" acting with total impunity from any laws

It appears even the silos themselves were hit. I saw sat images on X that the silo doors had been hit with pinpoint precision.

That explains why the mountain airbases could not fire from inside them, even the ones that were pre fueled (or solid) and ready and on standby at all times. It explains why the initial response took so long.

Are you talking about the iranian missile shower system? i also wondered? why they have not been used. ripple fire mechanism that firing Emads (1700km) should have been used. this should have been used as it was a major investment from Iran.

i am sure that these were built deep inside iran. you have raised an important point.

Launch silos were possibly targeted by air launched ballistic/cruise missiles and later on aircraft launched glide bombs. They will be targeted again next time. It is good to have silos but most likely they will be destroyed again so alternatives need to be developed. One possible solution is excavation vehicles inside mountain bases and some unfinished escape tunnels-routes which can be rapidly opened by excavation vehicles in times of need to carry out the missiles with mobile launchers and rapidly launch them to targets.

I don't normally share stuff like this, but this is in fact highly pertinent to topic at hand.

All should pay heed to this warning

We need a ground invasion into Israel to reduce its territory. Trying to absorb US/Israeli strikes and at best trade some blows is futile.

All this US-Israeli bravado ends when Middle Easterner soldiers invade Israel and reduce its territory. Best case scenario whole the entire Jewish people there hostage until US and Israel withdrew from Middle East.

You have to scare them. Right now they aren't afraid of you.
You forget they have nuc.
You can be sure, at another level than with the NATO, that a strong attack against the israeli territories will imply the use of nuc. Not all the 90 or 100 in stockpile, but some.

Jude people will never suffer another Shoah. Never.

And arabs neighbors already tried to defeat israel, together. They always failed. The last operations against Iran and Hezbollah shown they mastered the art of war.

(I just indicate I'm not jude. Just in case of).

can be useful to analyse their claims as a benchmark since Iran doesn't give any information

for example, they claim they destroyed up to 1,000 MRBMs in Iran. they also claim they launched around 1,200 airstrikes. so almost every airstrike destroyed 1 missile? none of the missile bases were actually penetrated and destroyed, so we can exclude the possibility that they destroyed hundreds of missiles at once.
1 airstrike may have destroyed several missiles at once, as some may have been unsuccessfull.
The figure is not incredible, as there were israeli special forces on the field to help to find the targets and made battle assessment.

@Persian Gulf He clearly claims that snapback mechanism does not exist. @0:46
