I feel ashamed over the treatment of Afghan refugees: Imran Khan

Were you arrested after 9/11 also? They arrested hundreds of thousands of Muslim immigrants in America as they didn't know who the real threat was and who was a good guy. Did anyone make silly comments like you are making on this thread? NO, for national security, you PROTECT your nation. That's what we are doing. We've lost 100,000 lives to terrorism by Afghanis. Can't get more Pakistanis killed.

We've dealt with Afghan terrorism for decades now, illegal weapons and drugs on top of terrorism. Lost over 100,000 people killed by Afghan terrorism. So if Mr. Trump can send Mexicans and South Americans back, we have all the rights to save our country from further terrorism. We are not putting these people through hardship. They are going back to their nation and start a new happy life on their mother land. PERIOD!

Linking Eastern Pakistanis to Afghanis is crazy!! One were a part of Pakistan when Afghanis have always been a foreign nation. It's the same as some idiot in America saying "Mexicans were owners of half the America so therefore they should be treated the same".
The sitting government decides how to handle foreign threats. Afghanis are involved in mass terrorism and have killed over 100,000 Pakistanis. They distribute drugs throughout Pakistan, illegal weapons and much more. So instead of putting them in Guantanamo bay like prison, we want them to go back to their country and start a happy prosper life.

Some of these people are Afghan apologists. They are hardwired to follow their ethnic kin. They don't understand Pakistan must win whatever the cost, that is the mission.

They need their version of Charlie Kirk to teach them right from wrong.

They have had bad rolemodels. KPK is the best example of a soft state. They should have guided their little brother FATA with a firm hand and ruthlessly culled their khawarij.

The ideology of Imran Khan has been a failure, its time to abandon and move on.

In a normal society everyone has the right to give his opinion, it’s called Freedom of expression. All opinions are inevitably filtered through individual perspectives, biases, experiences, and cultural contexts. No opinion exists in a vacuum. it is always received, processed, and interpreted by others in subjective ways.

However, beyond the theoretical debate of rights and opinions lies a more pressing human reality. To truly grasp the gravity of this situation, one must engage in a simple act of empathy. “Put yourself in their shoes“.

What if it was your family? What if your home, your community, and the life you’ve built over years or even decades were suddenly deemed illegitimate? The fear, uncertainty, and upheaval would be devastating.

Let me offer an even more direct parallel. Imagine you and your family had sought political asylum in a country like Germany or Australia, fleeing persecution and building a safe, new life. Then, one day, without warning, the authorities announced you would be deported back to the very dangers you escaped. I can guarantee that in that moment, your primary concern would not be the technicalities of immigration law; you would be appealing to the very principles of human rights, civil liberties, and compassion.
Interesting take with a caveat , you must show unflinching loyalty to the country that gave you home and protection.....in my humble opinion even divided loyalty is not acceptable.

Well they can have the role models and their actors and a full Broadway show of their wish, when they go back to the mother land.

We are NOT going to lose more Pakistani lives to terrorism. We've already lost 100,000 and daily we lose a few people and soldiers. The drug trafficking is rampant across Pakistan, our youth is getting addicted and violent gangs are starting to pop out again because these Afghani drugs and weapons network can distribute illegal weapons all across Pakistan. Hell, even US built weapons they left in Afghanistan for security are now found in terrorist attacks in Pakistan.

We are nice enough to ask them to go back instead of taking any harsh treatment like a nation would do in such circumstances. The stance is only ONE, we have lost due to Afghan terrorism over ONE HUNDREDS THOUSAND people in 25 years, we can't lose more! That's 100,000 people in 6 figures. It's time we protected ourselves and our nation and sent them back to their land. They have a big country.

The establishment are practising "strategic patience" with Afghanistan. They are hoping their society evolves but they will not. Central Africa is the best example of this. They will only get more sophisticated.

You are right through the refugees drug distrubution is rampant. They are making our youngsters into drug addicts. And the proxies follow up with FUD in the form of an attack to scare FDI away.

The crime statistics for Afghans are sky high here in the UK. Imagine a lawless soft state like Pakistan.

They need to make drastic decisions or the future generations will pay a very heavy price.

Thank you for engaging on the substance. I believe a country's strength is measured by both its security and its commitment to justice. Let's break down your arguments.

Past instances of collective punishment (treatment of Bengalis in Pakistan, Japanese internment in the U.S.) serve as warnings not direct comparisons against punishing entire groups for the actions of a few.

While some Afghans have engaged in criminal activity, blaming and deporting all Afghans including vulnerable families, long-term residents, and peaceful contributors violates principles of justice and due process.

Citing the U.S. Patriot Act as precedent is misguided, as its violations of rights are widely condemned. Repeating such mistakes, rather than learning from them, weakens moral and legal standing.

Safeguarding a nation demands targeted law enforcement and fair policies not broad brush measures that harm innocents, fuel resentment, and betray a country’s values.

Those who do not learn from their past are doomed to repeat it. We have our own history and the history of others to learn from. We must choose the path of wisdom, not the path of repeated mistakes.
Moral high grounds are very comfortable and safe places for residency until you get bitten by the scorpions hidden under the rocks there .

You’re just going in circles writhing samething again and again. Just because you can write whole bunch of gibberish doesn’t mean it makes sense.
I have answered all your questions in detail with examples. Learn to understand and appreciate opposite views even if you don’t agree to it.

...if the the tweet truly reflects Khan sahab's sentiments towards the "treatment of Afghans"...

(then)

...its best he stay inside until he comes to his sences.

[B.C.] - kisi Muslim ummah ko Afghans ki fikr nahe, par hum nay uunka thaikha utha rakha hai.

And the ones who got married to Afghanis..., well - ab pair pay jub kulhari maar he le tou zara Afghanistan bhee challi jao.

Are you saying that Pakistan is North Korea where people have no Rights to talk about their grievances? And if they say anything against their incompetent government or establishment, they get kidnapped, tortured and possibly killed like Arshad Sharief?

On this issue, I fundamentally dis-agree with Imran Khan. Afghanistan is now at peace, and their citizens must now go home.
Niazis were refugees themselves after getting thrashed by the Khattaks. they seeked refuge in Mianwali and were offered asylum by the Ghakkarrs and Awans of the region.... This might be the reason he is so obsessed with letting the Afghan refugees in... A software of squatting rights that he has somehow justified for himself..

Us Pakistanis don't want more of our people killed due to Afghanis doing terrorism on our soil, running a massive drug market in our country destroying our youth, running a target killing and illegal weapons distribution network. If this wasn't enough, rich people are kidnapped for ransom by Afghanis in Pakistan and calls are then made from Afghanistan to pay ransom and the person is let go in Pakistan. So we will send them back to their country. We don't need this terrorist network operating with hundreds of thousands of people.

If you've understood that we've lost over 100,000 people by Afghan terrorism and don't want to lose more. It's time they go back to their nation. Then I'll respect your opinion to let them go back to their country. Losing 100,000 people to terrorism is not gibberish. It's simple English. Everyone has to protect their nations from these barbaric animals.

The story is different. He allowed them in so they can form his militant wing part of his political party to keep opponents silent and some, silent forever. Like everything else, he doesn't care about the country, only himself and his party. We've lost over 100,000 people since 2000's. We the Pakistanis don't want ONE more of our citizens lost to Afghani terrorism. It's really simple.

What you are saying is true, but it's not Imran Khan who did such things but a three letter organisation.

Those 100,000 people may still have been alive today if Pakistani establishment knew how to say no the almighty dollar.

To bring terrorist fractions in to run a militia inside a political party wasn't the establishment. It was IK. Attacks on state and military installations were also carried out by using this terrorist force IK was building for his party. We don't live in China, all this happened right here in front of our eyes!

The dollars were said good bye years ago. The killings are still happening every day. So we will avenge those and Afghani terrorists need to be deported back to their "mother land". We need an end to terrorism, drug culture, illegal weapons trafficking and ransom culture that's being run by this Afghan terrorist mafia. End of the story.

You were in the room with Imran Khan when he did all this?

We are talking about Afghan refugees , bringing Arshad sharif into the equation is intellectual dishonesty.
