If the PLAN accepts to field the WS-19 engines, they must have achieved enough reliability, to be fielded on J-35, which will be crucial for the needs of carrier aviation.
I have no idea, but common sense tells me that depends on the clearance and it's just too early for that, plus the engine itself needs much more times to be fully mature.Will that mean the export variants will have the WS-19 aswell ?
IndeedChinese finally have now caught up with Western fighter engines. I very well expect that in the next decade they will surpass Western engines.
