True..But with the AEGIS it is not only a frigate it is a central naval platform that can coordinate a whole navy.. in any case..this is a long term project for Egypt,,it wants the advanced TOT mostly..

In the meanwhile Egypt will procure other frigates and corvettes..Turkey is a very possible candidate since the relationship between the two is very good now..

Both ships are magnificent marvels of engineering. It’s the diversity of advanced and state of the art class ships and vessels that make the EN a feared and versatile adversary.

Speaking of warships, remember that cc-60 corvette concept that was shown in idex 21? I bring this up because when I first saw it it really caught my eyes to finally seeing Egypt beginning its road to self sufficiency in the naval sector. People claim it’s an axe bow design to have a faster and more comfortable ride in deep sea expeditions and patrols. I was only able to find a couple of pictures about them online. I read on Reddit (yeah, I know) that the armament that it consists of is pretty decent for a ship class of tonnage that’s no more than 700 tons. The Exocet missile was what got my attention as it’s a potent platform even above the marte sea killer class of missiles, which was rumored to be one of the missiles to be potentially selected for the corvette. If the EN goes through with the marte hypothetically, then it should definitely acquire the ER jet variant for best results. But if not then Exocet is a solid proven platform either ways that can be further upgraded on.

AEGIS is a perfect System . But we saw how Qatar with the latest technology American weapons was helpless against the Israeli attack

You want to coordinate whole Navy with AEGIS
but in a conflict , AEGIS could turn the entire Egyptian Navy into a lame duck against Israel

also Egypt can buy superior Platform from Turkiye at the same price
