2025 China Victory Day Parade

Maybe they want to hold on to power for long time ? Haha.

Xi Jinping didn't dye his hair, and he probably won't run in the 2027 election. Jiang Zemin and Hu Jintao also started to stop coloring their hair two years before their retirement.

China's next leader is likely to be Ding Xuexiang.

Sure, those Americans dead fighting for and those helped China in WW II will not be forgotten. But, lets put in perspective and not forget, US sold oil and steel to Japan that were indispensible for Japanese war machine to wage war on China for years before Pearl Harbor bombing in 1941. The Japanese could only get these oil and steel from US supplies. Further, the US state didnt help China by going to war with Japan, it went to fighting Japan because the American Hawaii port was bombed by Japan. Russia/Soviet Union was the only country in the world providing some help to China by sending air fighter pilots to fight the Japanese in China before Pearl Harbor. Near end of the war, the Chinese army and Japanese Imperial army were stalemated in battles in China. US gave the final blow in WW II.

That's what I sort expect of Ding too. But according to the tradition, he should have governed two large provinces, he doesn't have the experience now, Maybe CCP will change this rule. Hope Xi steps down after this term, he is come of old age.

There are too few age-eligible candidates in the Politburo. Maybe Xi Jinping just forgot to dye his hair instead of signaling his readiness to retire.

You bet! That's right.

Just like China today when they sell stuff to both sides in wars because they "take no sides"

So I have no problem at all with the US helping the Japanese War machine... I hope we made good profits too.

Ever hear of the Flying Tigers...your ignorance of Chinese History is showing.

Stalemated? Tell that to all the other countries in SouthEast Asia that were fighting for their survival...which BTW you weren't helping at all..no matter what stupid "stalemated" excuse you try and pull.

I don't remember China stalemating anything.

You were a bunch of losers now trying to claim some big achievement.

That American flag in the top right is at Midway Island where we sank 4 Japanese aircraft carriers 6 months after Pearl Harbor to cover our Western flank so we could concentrate better on fighting Germany.

US also industrialized and militarize Japan even after the Manchurian invasion in 1931. The flying Tigers were paid 10000 US dollars a month by the KMT in 1940s. They were not volunteers but mercenary, so instead of feeding our people, we paid these leeching mercenaries to fight. US assistance only came after Pearl Harbour. Despite such a brutal attack, US still love Japan today. US used to have VJ day up until 1970s, now all is forgotten. Even Australia had it. VJ stands for Victory against Japan day. US used to fight for freedom, now US is nothing but a genocide supporter. The world is watching mate, not the fake uyghur genocide but the in your face baby killing genocide unfolding right in front of us.

Lmao calm down there little boy. We were responsible for holding down approximately two-thirds of the Imperial Japanese Army and japan lacks the manpower to fully occupy china and most of Japan's significant territorial gains in China occurred before 1939 but your little colony in the phillipines were overran by japan in just 5 months.

Lol, stop BS so much. First, China is doing business with Russia now buying their oil as consistently long before the war, If China doesn't buy oil from Russia, they can still finance the Ukraine war through other sources. EU is buying large amount of gas from Russia and US is buying Russian oil products through third countries. American oil and steel were indispensable for Japanese war machines to wage war on China, without American oil and steel, the Japanese couldn't carry their war in China, they couldn't get oil and steel from other countries. Second, the American Flying Tiger didn't take into action until after the Pearl Harbor bombing and they were highly paid by Chinese gov, they were not volunteers. Third, Chinese army was actually winning ferocious battles such the ones in Changsha and Yunnan near the end of the war. There were to a large extent stalemate between the two armies in China in the end. And how stupid is you to mistake I ever talked in my post about battles in Southeast Asia.

Bullshit. We are not supplying Russia with military materiel.
If we did support Russia, the French would be changing their flag from tricolor to monochrome by now, remove the left and right side colors.

China despite being poor and starving and divided with warlords, used our blood and sweat to hold off Japan in the mainland for 14 years from 1931 onwards. Without China, Japan would have conquered Austrlia and India. 4-5 mil soldiers killed off 2 mil Japs.

Oh..so now you are insinuating we were selling "military materiel" to Japan?

Where did anybody mention direct military materiel?

uh huh..I guess you forgot that after the West basically embargoed Russia...China happily stepped in to give them a hand.

Maybe that was a myth?

We only trade civilian goods with Russia. The U.S. supplies Japan with military materials such as oil and steel.
