800+km range BrahMos missile successfully test fired by Indian Navy

The missile booster has been indigenised. An ‘Indigenous Seeker’ has been fitted and proved in March last year, which will now be fitted in all future missiles. Mastering the seeker technology is a significant milestone and would reduce reliance on imports. The only major component left towards indigenisation is the Ramjet engine. Efforts are in progress towards indigenisation of the same.
Fuel was also indigenized.

Before leaving Pakistan, our geography teacher in Primary did tell us about Brahmputra river add that to the Russian water, I guess that becomes a mixture rather than just the Ganges.
Pass.

Now, the next bit will be on history.

Actually yes we can you know why because we hold the IP of various subsystems of the missile.
Take the liquid fuel for example, we recently indigenised it and hold the IP rights to it, unlike your JF 17 and it's subsystems

You may have firstexport order in the pipeline for the missile but if you must compare a projectile with an aircraft then you need some schooling to comprehend the fact as who exactly has been marketing, displaying, manufacturing and even delivering the aircraft to third parties.
Can you even sell a wheel of the SU-30, which you claim to build in India.

I am not sure but it might have to do with cost of production ultimately, which will put this hypersonic variant away by at least a decade if not more (The CEO of Brahmos is saying this, so there must be a reason).

In recent years there have been multiple Brahmos tests, and one of these tests has recorded data, where magnetic anomaly detection test has shown the missile reaching near hypersonic speed. Not sure if the ramjet fired for longer time, or some other change was made. However the data does show the speed being achieved, for only limited time in its flight time.

Some independent researcher from University of Colorado, did this study. The most recent statement from CEO of Brahmos aerospace says, the missile might be away by six to seven years. However he is a CEO, so he will surely be giving optimistic timelines. Leaving sources for both below

The challenge for that is its low or medium altitude focus - unless they go into advanced ceramics it’s heat that is one of the biggest challenges at that altitude.

Now who on earth would want to buy a wheel?

Oh, wait, got it, the PLA! Their tanks lose wheels!

Agree, and probably they will also have to work on firing up the ramjet for longer time, as a hypersonic missile with low range is of no or limited use.

However this makes the missile comparatively very costly, which will also limit its use. Only high value targets will require this weapon system

Maybe the West realized this, and focuses more on making the missiles stealthier than faster. That's not to say hypersonic regime, doesn't have its own thing. It might be advisable that ISRO lends a hand, apart from their own hypersonic program.

So i guess, Indians will now champion it as an indigenous achievement.
Under estimation of India’s manufacturing capabilities is not going to get you anywhere. The reality is some Indian tech has been reverse integrated into Russian platforms as well. Brahmos has always been an Indian-Russian JV and nowhere has it been claimed otherwise.

Yes we can. India can build entire landing gears including landings on aircraft carriers. Wheels is nothing. In fact Boeing makes a lot of landing gears in india. India’s aerospace parks have tripled in size in just a few years with a range of aerospace and defense firms in Bengaluru and Hyderabad aerospace parks. Entire next gen R&D on aviation tech is done out of india as part of GCCs of global manufacturers.

Many members were complaining about Pakistan selling artillery at a profitable price to Ukraine via a third party..

Meanwhile Russia has been arming India with weapons like this for years.

Pakistan should offer to sell more weapons to Ukraine including old F-16As and Mirages. This can be exchanged for western economic and military support. (Vipers, CSF, etc.)

You should - you MUST - take ten men and throw those members out.

No harm throwing in a few personnel.
