800+km range BrahMos missile successfully test fired by Indian Navy

News like this will constantly come out. Past is no indicator of India's future. India’s defense ecosystem significantly suffered under the moribund Congress rule. No longer. Indian youth are aggressive today and very entrepreneurial. DRDO, BrahMos all rap heavily into India’s private ecosystem today. Anyone who under estimates India’s current speed of technological change and manufacturing capabilities is going to get their ass handed to them. DRDO’s restructuring means even more aggression in developing lethal arms. The rapid growth of India’s defense exports should be an eye opener for people who troll India’s manufacturing abilities.

Many members were complaining about Pakistan selling artillery at a profitable price to Ukraine via a third party..

Meanwhile Russia has been arming India with weapons like this for years.

Pakistan should offer to sell more weapons to Ukraine including old F-16As and Mirages. This can be exchanged for western economic and military support. (Vipers, CSF, etc.)

Not only arming from years, also from decades, putin supported them in kashmir issue openly.

but some pti supporters think pakistan should join russia camp, even not possible, as russians are hypocrites as same as americans.

pakistan is and always will be with china. which is best interests of pakistan.

Chinese WS 13 engine is being used in block 3 of JF-17.

indians are saying can not be replced.. as no alternatives.

but Pakistan main battle tank engine comes from Ukraine.

Pakistan should trade with both sides, but should always prefer China if possible.

Prior to this plant where warhead filling was getting done.... any idea?
Though Khamaria was even earlier engaged in filling of missiles, because of certain specification for materials to be used for brahmos, a new facility had to be erected.

Great news.. More effective Deterrents are always welcome.

These new BrahMos missiles will be “dual-role capable” which means that its warships can fire them at targets on land, as well as at enemy warships.
Yes but it a wasteful weapon for land attack.

Most of India's enemy are in range of Indian land launched ballistic missiles (conventional).

What India needs to build is perhaps some subsonic cruise missiles, and cheap ones at that and in number. That or long range drones. Actually drones are better because they are more cost effective.

Brahmos for land attack is waste of money. For Naval engagement it is very very useful.

Brahmos for land attack is waste of money.
The missile's Block-III version is needed for mountain warfare. The enormous energy of such a fast moving missile provides India with a brilliant weapon against deeply buried enemy bunkers and heavily protected locations behind the mountain range.
