Engine yes but all parts are produced in Pakistan. When we get TOT of weapons that means we are producing all parts in Pakistan except for engine. That is not made in Pakistan but for ground weapon systems. All parts are made in Pakistan. For Air Force around 60 % for JF-17 and almost all for except for engine for other jets.

But Quwa says different. He writes hit imported major parts of tanks from china.and for jf-17, Pakistan is just a partner.all the research was done by china.even paf is not allowed to use a western radar on block-3 cos china didn’t give permission.and the so-called 60% parts you made also because of chinese help.but the main fuselage, radar,fbw all are from china.so,stop egoistic behaviour when everything yours come from china.

Stop trying to educate us what Pakistan does and doesn’t do - the JF-17’s entire man machine interface was based on Pakistani requirements with Pakistani engineers sitting alongside Chinese ones in Chengdu.

General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS), visited Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT) as chief guest at the rollout ceremony of HAIDER tank (Pilot Project).

The ceremony was attended by Ambassador of the Peoples Republic of China, key officials of Chinese state company NORINCO, high officials of Government of Pakistan & Pakistan Army, and various military and civilian officials of HIT. During the ceremony, HIT unveiled its new Tank HAIDER, which has been indigenously manufactured through collaboration with NORINCO China and various industries of Pakistan.

HAIDER embodies cutting-edge technology and impressive capability in the domain of tank warfare having remarkable firepower, protection and manoeuvre characteristics. Crafted with state-of-the-art advanced technologies, HAIDER stands as a testament to Pakistani defence industry’s relentless pursuit of excellence in defence innovation.

COAS was briefed in detail about the technical capabilities of the HAIDER tank and the progress being made in achieving indigenization in arms and armament.

COAS also visited other manufacturing facilities within the Heavy Industrial Complex and appreciated the commitment of the officers and workforce in successful achievement of another technological milestone.

60 of JF-17 parts are now produced in Pakistan and most parts of Haider Tanks are also being produced in Pakistan. The weapon systems which we get from China we don't just assemble them. When we say TOT from Turkey and China that means TOT. We produce most parts.
