The PA may be after the Turkish FIRTINA 2 with indigenous hybrid engine to reduce thermal signature and transmission (ASELSAN + BMC Power) to counter the IA's equivalent SPGs. Once finalized they may go for local mass production. The Turkish artillery + UAV combo is taking the air out of the PKK/YPG terrorists in the Northern Iraq & Syria.....

They may need the tracked ones too for the deserts and the plains. The IA is fast building up such capabilities....

There was a project of indiginious Artillery gun and Army was supposed to put in trials as stated by some HIT official In uniform (I think an officer Maj. Gen rank) during last IDEAS exhibition.

Please inform what happened to that project ???? Was it dropped ???

User trial. Barrels are under in production and used a replacements for M109s

L7 is licensed copy for 105mm.

M114 is howitzer.
M46 is field gun, not howitzer.
