Bangladesh Keen To Join Saudi-Pak-Turkey Defence Alliance, Says PM's Top Aide

Be honest to yourself , from purely military perspective you have no use for Saudi Arabia.. you ain't getting no money for toys , some charity maybe....I know my bong bros are more sensitive than a teenage girl , however someone has to burst your bubble.

Let's see how it goes playboy.

As previously stated, this is just BD tactic to extract a better deal from India, simple pressure tactic.

The Pakistani posters inviting BD to the pact have no sympathies for BD and would only like that they voluntarily fall on the sword for them.

There is racial and ideological differences between Pakistanis and BD. These can only be termed as visceral. There's no Pakistani out here who has genuine sympathy for BD or her people.

An utterly ridiculous statement.

Indeed. Bangladesh is like Mohammed Salah, bartering with Liverpool for a better contract by pretending he's interested in his countless suitors...and then running off to the highest bidder anyway!

That's always a concern, far too much baggage which cannot be ignored.
It doesn't mean you stop trying. A battered wife needs support to win her freedom.

i still did not get a proper sensible ans why bangladesh should join it? Its a defence oact if Godforbid there is a war all three countries cant do much as wars are sustained by logistics and there no safe passage here. it does not make sense to me till now.

You're assuming your interpretation is how the Mecca pact is designed. No one knows, it's all pure speculation.
Even the NATO article 5 isn't automatic, there is a mechanism.

Everyone has forgotten how NATO hinted to Turkiye that it's on it's own regarding Russia. The time Turkiye downed a Russian jet.
These pacts operate within the parameters and the intent of the signatories, right now people are just getting carried away with their imagination.

I have seen few references regarding SEATO and CENTO, and the supposed failure. What everyone forgets is that Pakistan and other member states developed and improved their military capabilities as a result of those pacts. Result achieved.

It all depends on what the signatories intend, they're not children, and the gains need not be purely about military personnel in an actual battlefield.

look my point is simple. On paper is its defence pact so for defence you need to support other country as geography of Bangladesh dnt allow logistic support . Still no body has a proper ans to that how Other countries can support it in ascenario if there is a war between Bangladesh and india.

Military strong Bangladesh can choke India by cutting off it's 8 states from rest of the India. Read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siliguri_Corridor

Imagine a scenario when India wants to fight full fledged war with Pakistan and Bangladesh being part of Makkah Defence pact could capture about 22km of land more popularly known as "Chicken's neck". Even the troops movement around the border will deviate attention of India and it's military will be split across various borders of Pakistan, Bagladesh and China. So India won't be at it's full strength on Pakistani borders just because of 1 signature of Makkah pact.
